General Hospital Spoilers: Monday, November 22 Recap – Carly’s Sad Jason Voicemail – Peter Captured, Calls Maxie

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Monday, November 22, reveals that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) left a sad voicemail for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) – and Peter August (Wes Ramsey) got captured after a final Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) murder attempt.

On Cassadine Island, Peter woke up following the tunnel collapse and dragged himself over to unconscious Drew. Peter picked up a nearby rock and was all set to murder Drew with it, but Drew regained consciousness before he had a chance.

After Peter fled the tunnel, Drew made sure Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) was awake. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) also woke up and quickly grew concerned about the possibility that Britt had a concussion.

Britt was most worried about Jason who was trapped on the other side of the rubble.

Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) pulled a gun on Peter in the house he’d been hiding out in.

Anna joined them, but Peter acted like everyone in the tunnel was dead from the collapse. He took great joy in rubbing it in, but Anna eventually found most of the gang down in the tunnels with backup.

Drew didn’t want to leave without his brother – and Britt was also insistent about getting Jason out. However, everyone eventually headed to safety while the tunnel continued to rumble and more debris fell.

Britt, Liesl and Drew all mulled over ways to kill Peter – including injecting bleach, which was Obrecht’s preferred method! However, Anna basically insisted they’d lock Peter up and throw away the key.

Drew held out hope that Jason might’ve escaped through the other side of the tunnel, but Robert said there was no sign of him.

That left Britt even more fearful about Jason’s fate.

At GH, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) told Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) that he had suspicions about “Bailey Quartermaine” (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) and followed up on them like any detective would.

Chase said he had a DNA test that proved “Bailey” was his and declared that he’d never forgive Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) for deceiving him.

Brook Lynn acted like she thought Chase wouldn’t want a kid with her and hated that the lie snowballed out of control.

After Chase stepped out in the hallway with Brook Lynn, he confirmed that he had figured out “Bailey” was actually Louise August.

Brook Lynn was grateful for Chase’s help, but she worried about the threat of retaliation from Valentin.

Back in Valentin’s hospital room, he cried over a picture of “Bailey” on his phone.

Valentin also got confirmation over the phone that Peter had been captured, so he opted not to share his bad news with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

Anna could tell something was off and wondered if he was OK, so Valentin insisted he would be.

Valentin also made a phone call to someone mysterious. He had a job for this person to do – and it seemingly involved Brook Lynn’s looming punishment.

In the OR, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) panicked over her baby before passing out due to hemorrhaging. Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) was a nervous wreck, but the medical team needed him to leave and let them work.

Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) got updates and did her best to comfort Brando before Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) appeared with the latest.

Sasha was stable and headed for the ICU while the baby had been placed in a NICU incubator following his breathing problems.

After Brando joined Sasha for a tender moment, she wanted to see their son and suggested getting a wheelchair to get her to the NICU.

Dr. Sofia Navarro (Christine Ferraro) said that wouldn’t be possible and alluded to another problem.

At Charlie’s Pub, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) talked to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) about how her head remembers Sasha’s daughter deception, but sometimes her heart forgets. Sonny suggested hearts tend to do that.

Sonny had an intense discussion with Nina where he called their love in Nixon Falls a lie, but it was close enough for Nina.

Although Nina regretted not being strong enough to let Sonny go, she pointed out that people lie when they have the most to lose.

Meanwhile, Carly bumped into Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) and learned he was going back to Australia.

Jax didn’t seem like he was coming back anytime soon and ended up bickering with Carly, who reminded him that they aren’t friends.

Carly felt like Jax destroyed his relationships in town because of Nina. Afterward, Jax spotted the end of Nina and Sonny’s conversation at the pub.

Nina was adamant that her romance with Sonny was in the past, but Jax didn’t seem convinced.

Back with Carly, she left Jason a voicemail since she missed him. Carly hoped Jason would be back soon so they could talk. In the tunnel on Cassadine Island, viewers saw the chariot card buried in the rubble.

While Peter was being watched by a group of WSB agents, he urged them to change his handcuffs so they’d be in the front rather than behind him. Peter acted like he was injured and surrounded with no way of escape anyway.

Peter was also allowed to make a phone call to Maxie’s number, so she was horrified when Peter said he was coming home and would reunite with her soon.

General Hospital spoilers say Peter is sure to cause a few more wild twists and turns, so stay tuned.
