General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that fans of deceitful and sly Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) are convinced the blond beauty is not dead and will return – she’s too irascible for that!
Let’s face it, someone with as much venom as Nelle has coursing through her veins can defy the Grim Reaper his due, no problem. Which leads to the juicy question of just where Miss Spitfire has been since falling off a cliff after her Loving sister Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) failed to save her.

Nelle Benson aka Nina Reeves’ (Cynthis Watros) daughter has a checkered past. When she was known as Janelle she apparently drowned her hubby in a lake in order to collect his insurance.
Years later she landed in Port Chuck determined to make Carly’s life miserable. She succeeded.
Along the way Nelle charmed Carly’s son Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and they had a baby, Wiley. In case you’re saying ew right now, Nelle and Carly are not biologically related; that would be too tragic even for a soap opera if Nelle had Carly’s grandson/nephew.

Nelle got too big for her britches and pulled one too many farces. Chief among them was her hand off of newborn Wiley to Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) in the woods late one night. Also ew.
Luckily Wiley was eventually reunited with his dad and Nelle wound up in jail. But not for long and soon she was haunting the good citizens of Port Chuck again.
Long story short, explosive show spoilers tease that Nelle is Nina’s daughter. Which means she can’t be dead because Nina is tangling with amnesiac Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in Nixon Falls. Who better to blow her cover than her long lost (and presumed dead) daughter?

Where has Nelle been all this time? The Tan-O would be the perfect hideout!
The place is as secure as a 7-11 and everyone seems to come and go as they please. Who’s to say good hearted Samaritan Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) didn’t take in another stray besides Sonny-Mike? It’s very possible that Nelle has been cleaning up the Tano-O after hours, when Sonny is asleep!
May Sweeps is not over yet GH fans, and there is sure to be more drama and trauma to come in the coming days. Will Nelle be the one to blow Sonny’s world apart?
