General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the next two weeks tease that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will react to Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) survival while Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) braces for her worst Peter August (Wes Ramsey) nightmare. Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gabi) new ally will also come into the picture, so let’s discuss what GH has in store for fans.
During the week of September 20-24, Sonny’s Port Charles comeback will take center stage. After it’s revealed that Carly and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) avoided the car bomb danger, they’ll head to their reception and wrap up the night at home.
What Jason and Carly won’t realize is that a very much alive Sonny is headed their way.
Sonny will insist on leaving the clinic despite Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) best efforts to stop him.
Sonny won’t care what his doctors have to say and will leave for PC as soon as possible. It won’t be long until Sonny’s walking through the door of his home once again.
Sonny’s return will come as a huge shock to an overwhelmed Carly, but Sonny will also face a bombshell since he’ll discover Carly and Jason just had a wedding.
There’ll also be a “Jarly” make-out session or perhaps even more, so Sonny will have a lot to wrap his head around – just like Carly and Jason!
As for Nina, she’ll get put on full blast for trying to deal with Peter on her own.
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will lash out, but they’ll have to turn their attention to finding Peter soon after. That’ll lead to Anna finding Peter first and launching quite a showdown with him.
Nina will also get in touch with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), who’ll freak over Peter’s latest threats and the possibility that he’ll come for her in Port Charles.
The idea of Peter potentially figuring out that “Bailey Quartermaine” (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) is Louise August will also be absolutely terrifying.
Maxie will panic over Peter derailing all her plans and wreaking havoc, but Anna and Valentin will hope to put this threat to rest – even if it means a deadly outcome for Peter.
Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will also get some disturbing news, so we’ll see if that involves Peter or perhaps Liesl’s captivity situation.
During the week of September 27-October 1, more of Sonny’s loved ones will get updates on him being alive and back in town.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will find out that bombshell from Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), who’ll certainly be glad her stepdad has returned.
Maxie will push for compassion, so it sounds like she’ll try to help Nina navigate what’s sure to be a fury-filled situation with Carly.
Meanwhile, Liesl will form a surprising alliance. It sounds like Obrecht will meet someone – or perhaps reunite with someone – in captivity.
Either way, Liesl will score some help following a setback and hope she can gain the upper hand.
While Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) grows increasingly frustrated with his own captivity dilemma, Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton) will do some scheming.
They’ll start by trying to take Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) down, but that’ll lead to Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Chavez) takedown as well.
Of course, Esme will plot a counterattack and hope it saves her as well as “Spence.”
Josslyn and Esme will end up having a tense encounter while Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) settles on what he feels is the only way to protect Ava Jerome (Maura West).
Finally, Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) will face a challenge as he works on the next phase of all the Edward Quartermaine (John Ingle) will drama.
Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will help as best as he can, but he may be a bit distracted since Liesl will remain missing and in danger.
General Hospital spoilers say Obrecht will work hard to make it back to Scott and her life in Port Charles, but Britt will take matters into her own hands and head to Greece eventually.
