General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that danger could be brewing for both Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).
It took some convincing, but Nina agreed to stick around for a few more days and work on a human-interest story that could draw more people into the area. Of course, a few days could turn into a few weeks and maybe even months.
Regardless, General Hospital spoilers say Nina will remain in the guest room of Phyllis Caulfield’s (Joyce Guy) house. Nina will be spending plenty of time at The Tan-O, where she’ll get to know this version of Sonny a bit better.
When it comes to the story Nina’s working on, the goal will be to save Phyllis and Lenny Caulfield’s (Rif Hutton) bar as well as keep the other nearby business afloat. As Nina teams up with Sonny on this task, it could lead to peril.
We can’t forget that Elijah Crowe (Dan White) told someone to follow “Mike” and find out all there was to know about him. Elijah seemed awfully menacing as he barked orders – and GH fans will recall he wasn’t happy with “Mike” for ruining his chance to buy The Tan-O from Phyllis and Lenny.
Nina could inadvertently become a bit of an investigative journalist here and discover a trail that leads straight to shady Elijah. Maybe Nina could threaten to expose Elijah’s corrupt, greedy agenda. That’d be one way for Nina to stir up some trouble that could bring danger.
However, even just being associated with Sonny could lead to trouble. As Nina and Sonny bond, she’s going to seem important to him. Based on the determined look in Elijah’s eyes, he seemed capable of more than just having Sonny tailed by someone.
Sonny could become a target – and that means Nina could get dragged into this as a target, too.
Whatever the case, Nina may land in danger as she helps Sonny take on Elijah. One way or another, Elijah will inevitably come back into the picture with his discovery about ‘Mike.’
