General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) murder mission may be coming up since she’ll inevitably want Peter August (Wes Ramsey) dead for real. Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) news could reignite Liesl’s fatal goal, so let’s discuss what’s in store during the week of August 2-6.
Anna will meet with Obrecht so they can talk about Peter, so this brings the potential for a confession.
Although Anna will continue to protect Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), she could still fill Liesl in on some new developments.
Obrecht and Anna bonded over their smashing session when they worked to get some of their anger out.
Anna knows how much Liesl hates Peter – and how much Liesl wants to protect Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms).
Perhaps Anna will feel obligated to share at least some of the story and make it clear that there’s indeed a reason to be concerned.
Anna could admit Peter may have escaped a deadly fate based on her source. She might feel like the murder attempt could make Peter even more vengeful and dangerous.
Anna may add that it’s more important than ever to keep Maxie safe and track Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) down.
It’s easy to imagine Obrecht seething over Peter cheating death once again.
GH fans can’t forget how Liesl tried to use Dante Falonceri (Dominic Zamprogna) as her programmed secret weapon, but he failed to complete the mission.
Liesl might decide to get the job done herself if Peter resurfaces – and he inevitably will.
Peter had better watch out if he lands in the path of lethal Liesl and her desire for vengeance. Sooner or later, Peter’s time could still run out.
Redemption just doesn’t seem possible, so Peter’s return may be for a final chapter with better closure.
Could Obrecht finally be the one to kill Peter for real and rid Port Charles of the villain permanently?
Liesl certainly loathes Peter enough to go after him with fatal intentions, so more trouble may be brewing.
