General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) may grab “Bailey Quartermaine” aka Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) for revenge. It’s easy to see how Peter would blame Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) for the phony tip he received from Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), so Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) scheme could go horribly wrong.
When Peter threatened Nina, he brought up the possibility of kidnapping James West (Curtis and Owen Rufca) as a replacement if she didn’t cooperate.
The idea of a replacement child wasn’t something that GH presented before, so it’s interesting that it’s become an option now.
Of course, there’s a chance Peter was bluffing on that part, but it’s also possible that he’ll indeed end up swiping a kid as a Louise replacement – though it’s doubtful it’ll be James.
Nina lied about getting the St. Lucia lead from Valentin, so Peter’s probably going to think Valentin was in on the deception.
Could that leave Peter angry enough to go after Valentin’s daughter as a replacement for Louise? If so, that’s obviously a problem for Maxie since Valentin’s daughter doesn’t exist!
There is no “Bailey Quartermaine” since she’s actually Louise, Peter’s own flesh and blood.
However, it’d be a great twist if Peter didn’t know that when he snatched “Bailey.” Peter could simply decide this is the best path to vengeance – not to mention he’d probably like the idea of scoring a baby girl who’s the same age as Louise.
There are several reasons why Peter would view “Bailey” as an appealing kidnapping target.
General Hospital spoilers say Valentin will get a disturbing phone call on the GH episode Monday, September 13.
Valentin will then sound the alarm to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), so this phone call has to tie in with Peter.
Perhaps Peter will get on the phone and warn Valentin that there’ll be a price to pay for that St. Lucia tip that went nowhere.
Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) was abducted before she could kill Peter, so he wound up on a wild goose chase.
Since it didn’t lead Peter to Louise and he’s desperate for a child, this could set the stage for “Bailey” getting scooped up eventually.
Maxie would no doubt panic and realize her plan to hide Louise in plain sight wasn’t so foolproof after all!
