General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) may solve the Louise August (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt) mystery by secretly connecting the “Bailey Quartermaine” dots. Will Peter’s latest trip to GH prove crucial to working out this puzzle?
Peter was poisoned and will have to be rushed to the hospital, but he should pull through sooner or later. However, that doesn’t mean this part of the story will be pointless.
While in General Hospital, Peter could get some clues that point him in the right direction when it comes to his missing daughter.
Peter certainly wasn’t going to learn anything sitting in solitary confinement, so it makes sense from a writing standpoint to put him back in the hospital for a while. This will also put Peter around other people, so there’s the potential for some secret spillage one way or another.
Although Peter may not be the most cunning villain ever, he pays attention when it comes to his great obsessions: Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Louise.
That’s why Peter was so quick to realize there might be some romantic interest in Maxie on Austin Gatlin Holt’s (Roger Howarth) part.
Unfortunately, Austin tends to run his mouth – and that could turn out to be a huge problem.
The fact that Austin doesn’t know the truth about Louise could actually work against him here.
Once Peter is recovering, Austin will monitor his progress and inevitably face off with him again. It’s easy to imagine Peter provoking Austin into ranting about the pain Maxie’s endured because of him.
Austin could mention how hard it was for Maxie to watch Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) with her own baby – knowing she was missing all the same milestones for Louise.
One simple statement could be enough to help things click for Peter, especially based on how Maxie acted at the police station.
Maxie was adamant that Peter knew nothing about Louise and made it clear that he’d never get his hands on her.
Peter may finally start to realize that Maxie seems a little too certain that Louise is alive and out of his grasp.
Peter presumably still remembers Maxie’s old feud with Brook Lynn, so he’s bound to find it odd if Austin lets something slip about their friendship. That’s particularly true if Peter puts it together that Louise and “Bailey” were born around the same time.
There’s even the potential for Peter to spot Maxie and Brook Lynn together or overhear something he shouldn’t during this stint at GH.
This hospitalization could become an advantage for Peter if it leads to him solving the puzzle of where his missing daughter is.
Of course, Peter might leave Maxie out of the loop on his discovery that Louise is “Bailey.”
Peter could secretly plot an escape and a kidnapping that Maxie would never see coming, so things might take a dangerous turn!
General Hospital spoilers say Peter will have to learn Louise’s true identity at some point – and it may be sooner than Maxie expects.
