General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) may be terrified when she finds out about Trina Robinson’s (Sydney Mikayla) mobster grandfather. This could leave Portia torn over whether to reveal the paternity secret to Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), so more drama’s headed her way.
Portia has already been on edge over “Marshall” (Robert Gossett) the mystery man. She was concerned enough to let Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) draw a sketch to confirm everyone was talking about the same guy.
“Marshall” the runaway GH patient is indeed the guy who was sniffing around The Savoy and chatting with Portia outside Kelly’s.
Now Portia has a bad feeling about the trouble that’s brewing. She senses that something’s off about this mysterious stranger and has been advised to trust her instincts.
It’s those instincts that Portia may have to rely on down the road.
During the week of November 15-19, Curtis will face a life-changing bombshell thanks to a special visitor at his nightclub. We’ll see Curtis deal with a revelation that’s sure to leave him conflicted.
Since it certainly looks like “Marshall” is Curtis’ father, Curtis is going to wonder how this is even possible.
Curtis seems genuinely convinced his dad died of a heart attack when he was just a little boy, but maybe “Marshall” faked his death and took on a new identity.
Perhaps the goal was protecting Curtis and those closest to him from the mob.
“Marshall” is most definitely a man to be feared since one minute he was glaring at Joey Novek (Patrick Zeller) and the next Joey was nearly dead from a brutal attack! It’s clear that “Marshall” is someone who means business.
Portia has battled plenty of guilt when it comes to the paternity secret she’s keeping under wraps.
Part of Portia wants to come clean about Trina being Curtis’ biological daughter, but another part of her doesn’t want to throw so many lives into turmoil.
Having Curtis’ bio dad back in the picture is going to make things even more complicated.
Portia may fret over how Curtis would react to another buried family lie – not to mention “Marshall” is apparently a mob boss.
Portia may tell herself she can’t risk putting Trina in the crosshairs by confessing. If Portia did, it could lead to “Marshall” finding out Trina is his granddaughter and wanting a bond with her.
That might not work for Portia after everything that happened with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).
In other words, discovering that “Marshall” is Curtis’ dad could influence Portia’s choices and keep the truth about Trina’s paternity under wraps for a while longer.
The show may want to wait on this shocker until Jordan Ashford (last played by Briana Nicole Henry) inevitably comes back as a recast anyway.
