General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will no doubt have some difficult feelings to work through down the road. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will get some help from Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) when it comes to his escape, so that’ll put Jason and Britt on the lam together for a new phase of their story.
Of course, this is the kind of experience that’ll pull Britt and Jason closer than ever. By the time their time in hiding is over, Jason and Britt seem poised to emerge as a new couple. That makes us wonder how Sam will handle the idea of Jason moving on.
Sam should initially be grateful to Britt for helping Jason stay safe outside of Pentonville, but things could change once Jason’s name is cleared. What happens once Jason and Britt are walking around Port Charles as a free duo in love?
General Hospital fans know Jason isn’t the type to flaunt a relationship, but Britt could become a huge part of his life and someone he wants a bright future with.
t’s not like Jason will try to conceal what he feels for Britt either. Jason can hopefully help Britt get the medical help she needs so that they can indeed build a life together.
However, Sam could find herself jealous as Britt slides in her old spot. Part of Jason will always love Sam, but he has every right to move on since Sam dumped him.
Jason can’t be expected to mope and pine for Sam indefinitely, so Sam had better get used to the idea of seeing Jason with someone new on General Hospital!
Even so, it seems like the green-eyed monster might emerge as Sam’s forced to watch Jason make Britt the center of his world. This is Jason’s opportunity to truly move on from his ex, so that could be difficult for Sam to handle – even if she moves on as well.
There’s always going to be a connection between Sam and Jason, but they’ll have to figure out what that’s going to look like once General Hospital writers keep moving them in opposite directions. As other GH news rolls in, we’ll bring you updates.
