General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will have a good reason to join forces with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) soon.
GH fans know Sam made the difficult decision to part ways with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) romantically, but she still loves Jason and will always care about his well-being.
That’s especially true since Jason is Danny Morgan’s (Porter Fasullo) father and has served as a father figure to Scout Cain (Ella Ramacieri) since Drew Cain’s (Billy Miller) death, too.
Although Sam wanted to create some distance and keep her family safe, she cares about Jason and won’t want to see him go down for a crime he didn’t commit.
Of course, the crime we’re referring to here is the murder of Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth). Sam got confirmation from Jason that he didn’t kill Franco and is naturally taking him at his word.
Despite the deadly pact Franco initially pushed for, Jason didn’t carry it out and wasn’t the one who pumped a bullet in his old foe.
Since Peter August (Wes Ramsey) actually killed Franco, that’s something Sam should suspect – and she may need Dante’s help proving it. There’ll surely be several teams in town trying to destroy Peter, but Dante and Sam could end up being a pretty important duo.
General Hospital spoilers say Sam will want to keep Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) safe and prevent more Peter heartbreak as well. All of this will set up a significant meeting between Sam and Dante during the week of March 15-19.
Dante will sit down to talk to Sam at Kelly’s, so this could be a chance for them to plot their next moves together.
GH viewers know Dante’s still programmed to “complete the mission,” so that could play a role in what’s ahead for Peter – even if Dante doesn’t realize it yet. Dante will have a motive to protect Maxie and help Sam clear Jason’s name, so a “Sante” alliance seems fitting here.
It could also lead to Sam and Dante growing much closer as they spend more time together, so there’ll be some interesting ways to go with this story. We’ll deliver updates as other GH news pops up.
