General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) may get kidnapped and held captive as part of Gladys Corbin’s (Bonnie Burroughs) twisted plot to keep Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) “baby mama” away.
Gladys has had a disturbing glint in her eye lately, so it certainly seems like trouble’s on the horizon. Just how far will Gladys go to keep Brando on the path she wants?
Gladys has never been fond of Sasha as a love interest for her son anyway, but it seems like she likes her less and less every day.
That’s especially true now that Sasha is knocking Brando out of a lucrative career move. Of course, many moms would prefer to see their sons focus on building a family and doing something safe like operating a garage.
Gladys, on the other hand, it all for her son being a mobster! She wants to throw Brando right into danger, so it should come as no surprise if she puts Sasha in danger herself.
Gladys knows that Brando’s already falling hard, so she may hope she can nip this romantic connection in the bud.
Although Gladys does seem interested in her grandbaby, she clearly doesn’t care about the child’s mother.
Gladys would love for Sasha to be out of the picture, but she knows Brando’s committed to building a life with her now. She also knows Sasha probably isn’t going to do anything so terrible that she’d alienate Brando at this point.
If Gladys wants to keep Sasha away from Brando, her only real option is putting some physical distance between them. Gladys just might carry out a kidnapping scheme to make sure that happens.
Will Sasha suddenly go missing at some point? Will Gladys be to blame after kidnapping the mother-to-be?
If so, Gladys may try to convince Brando that Sasha decided to rethink their future and bail. She may argue that Brando might as well focus on his mob career and forget about that life he was planning with Sasha.
Gladys might make arrangements for when it comes time for the child to be born.
Perhaps Gladys could have it all worked out where she’ll steal the baby for Brando and claim that the child was abandoned on her doorstep. Any strategy that keeps Sasha gone should work for Gladys!
However, Gladys’ plot could go horribly wrong if she’s not careful. We know from behind-the-scenes GH leaks that a neonatal incubator will be used on an upcoming set.
Gladys may put her grandchild’s life in danger with her scheming, so stay tuned to see how it all plays out!
