General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) could face a drug release over her baby’s death. Will that become this potential mourning mom’s next battle?
GH fans know Sasha and Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) little boy was deprived of oxygen for too long and could now be facing a sad fate. Brain damage or even death are possible outcomes, so Dr. Sofia Navarro (Christine Ferraro) had to offer a warning to Brando and Sasha.
Of course, Dr. Navarro was warning GH viewers as well. There’s no guarantee Sasha and Brando’s baby will pull through at the end of this tragic arc, so that’s important to keep in mind. The danger to Brando and Sasha’s newborn son is quite real, so we have to consider the idea that he won’t make it.
What happens if Sasha has to go home without the baby boy she’s been dreaming of? That’s a challenge that could be too much for Sasha to bear without help. Unfortunately, Sasha could reach for the wrong kind if she turns to drugs as a coping strategy!
Relapsing is a common tale, especially on soaps since the show often heads down familiar story paths. Even if Sasha doesn’t end up getting hooked on drugs again, they might start calling her name. Sasha could face another round of temptation if she’s buried under grief and in need of any form of relief. It’d be simple for Sasha to crave drugs again in that case.
Naturally, GH fans will hold out hope that Brando and Sasha’s baby will live, but the situation is bleak and could just as easily have a somber ending. It’s a good idea to be prepared in case things head south, especially since there are several upcoming spoilers that point to Sasha needing major help.
