General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) may propose to Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and lock in their future, so we could see an engagement ring surprise for his perfect match. Scott could make Obrecht his fiancée as they look forward to sharing a life together.
GH fans know there was some awkwardness when Liesl and Scott first hit the sheets, but there was a definite spark. The pair’s connection soon went from steamy to something more romantic.
Although Liesl was briefly worried that Scott might be pulling away, that’s not what he wants at all. The two of them are continuing to get to know each other and falling hard in the process.
Of course, we also know that Scott’s been longing to settle down with a good woman for quite some time. Who could forget when he randomly proposed to Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) when they weren’t even dating?
Scott seemed desperate for someone to build a life with – and now perhaps he’s found the ideal someone in Liesl.
It’s clear that Liesl cares about Scott, who’ll strengthen his bond with her during the week of August 9-13.
These lovebirds enjoy each other’s company and don’t judge each other, so there’s a lot to like about Scott and Liesl’s adorable relationship.
Based on what we’ve seen so far, we wouldn’t be surprised at all if Scott popped the question sooner rather than later.
Scott may see no need to wait, so he could pick out a stunning engagement ring and hope Liesl will agree to be his wife.
Unlike the proposal Scott blurted out to Bobbie, he may do this one up right and really romance Liesl on some magical evening.
Scott isn’t exactly a soft and cuddly guy, but he can be charming in his own special way.
It’d be fun to see Scott get down on one knee and ask Liesl to marry him – and it’d be even more fun to watch Obrecht accept!
It makes sense for GH to push Liesl and Scott closer since they have a dangerous story arc coming up together according to some script leaks.
Whether this marriage proposal happens before or after, getting engaged seems like a reasonable step for the duo to take.
