It hasn’t been that long since Carly and Sonny renewed their vows, but a lot has changed since then.
Sonny was presumed dead, so Carly got married to Jason and was prepared to build a life with him – though Sonny doesn’t know they fell in love.
Although Carly and Jason’s marriage isn’t legal, they still said vows in front of everyone and had quite a celebration.
Now that Sonny’s back, he might think it’s time for another vow renewal.
Perhaps it could serve as both a welcome home party and a way to seal the deal on Sonny’s new chapter with Carly.
Of course, Sonny could also use it to put Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) in the rearview mirror.
Sonny intends to move on from Nina, but he may be in denial about the depth of his feelings. Can Sonny really just leave what “Mike” and Nina shared in the past?
