General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, December 2, teases that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will have a freak-out while Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) wants Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) answers. Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will also team up, so let’s dive in and discuss what’s brewing in Port Charles.
For starters, Maxie will nearly have a panic attack once she gets updates from Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton). She’ll be rattled and furious over some discovery she makes, so this might have something to do with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) decking Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and dragging Mac Scorpio (John J. York) into all this.
Maxie may argue that Chase needs to chill and stop turning this into a spectacle or else they’re going to get caught. The goal remains to protect “Bailey Quartermaine” aka Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom), which can’t happen if they cause a fuss and tip Peter August (Wes Ramsey) off somehow.
However, Chase and Brook Lynn will promise Maxie that they’re still fully committed. Now that Chase has been suspended from the police force for six months, he’ll have plenty of time to devote to this scheme!
Valentin will still be in a pit of despair in Thursday’s episode, so he’ll unload his agony on Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). He’ll make it clear that he wants Brook Lynn to suffer since he’s suffering, but Anna may argue that vengeance won’t make “Bailey” his daughter again.
Anna will do her best to calm Valentin down and take the heat off Brook Lynn, but let’s shift gears and talk about some other baby drama. Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) was promised a visit to the NICU once she recovered enough, but Dr. Sofia Navarro (Christine Ferraro) may delay that visit for whatever reason.
Since Sasha will be desperate to meet her son, Nina will help Brando grant that wish. It looks like Nina will distract Nurse Amy Driscoll (Risa Dorken) and keep her occupied for a bit while Sasha sneaks to the NICU.
Brando will wheel Sasha over there, but he’ll pause to prepare her before they go in. Their little guy is hooked up to machines and looks awfully fragile, so Brando will want Sasha to be ready. Sasha will feel father helpless since she can’t even hold her baby right now, but she’ll have the chance to talk to him and assure him of her love.
Next, Carly will probably bring Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) up to speed on her latest discussion with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). Carly’s trying to do what Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) would want and stop playing the blame game, so Sonny may be proud of how she handled things on the footbridge.
After Sonny explains Cyrus’ attempt to goad him over the phone, Carly will naturally be worried. Cyrus has way too much pull in prison if he’s got access to cell phones and knows all the Corinthos clan’s business.
Carly will grill Sonny about his next move against Cyrus, so he may promise to figure something out and make sure they all stay safe. Jason’s death was a grim reminder that life can be ripped away at any moment, so it’s more important than ever for Sonny to protect those closest to him.
Other GH spoilers say Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will quiz Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) about his relationship with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). Olivia will seem excited over things getting more serious between them and will no doubt hope this turns into true love.
As for Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), she’ll let Sam know she missed all the Cassadine chaos and will wonder where her daughter was all Thanksgiving. Sam may confess to being with Dante, but she’ll no doubt want to change the subject as fast as she can. There’s no need to give her mom the play-by-play of their erupting passion!
Sam will question what the future holds for Alexis, who may not be sure just yet. Regardless, Alexis will need to find her purpose on the outside of Spring Ridge and going back to college could help with that down the road.
