General Hospital Spoilers: Thursday, January 28 – Sonny Found, Faces New Demands – Nina Necklace Inquiry - Jason Tricks Peter

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, January 28, tease that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will flip out over Avery Corinthos’ (Ava and Grace Scarola) good luck charm for Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson).

Carly will hiss at Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) to shut this interview down, but Lucy won’t be interested – especially since Carly probably won’t be able to offer a good reason.

Next, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will make a beeline for Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) now that she’s seen the other half of her heart pendant. “How could you do this?” an outraged Nina asks Sasha in Thursday’s preview clip.

Sasha won’t understand at first, but Nina will point out that she’s wearing the half-heart necklace. Nina had a replica made for Sasha once upon a time, but she ripped it off her once Sasha was exposed as a fraud.

Now that Nina has seen this other pendant, she’s clearly convinced it’s the real deal. Nina may wonder how Sasha got her hands on it and why she’s kept quiet, but Sasha won’t have any idea how she wound up wearing the necklace.

Most of the drama won’t erupt until the interview’s over, but there’ll still be plenty of chaos. General Hospital spoilers say Nina will quiz Carly about the necklace briefly, but Avery will claim it as her own.

Nina’s sure to have questions for Avery about where she found it – and Sasha will give that half-heart pendant to Nina so she can see if it’s a true match.

Will the pendants fit together or will this happen to be the fake one Carly had made? It could go either way since Carly doesn’t know which necklace is which. At GH, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will push for answers about Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) contingency plan.

It looks like Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will fill Sam in on the deadly deal Franco made with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).

Sam should side with Liz on this being a terrible idea that could end in disaster. Unfortunately, it’s Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) who presents the more pressing problem.

Later, drunk Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will be looking rough as Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) asks if she witnessed the incident. What incident will that be?

This could tie in with that syringe Alexis had her eye on at the end of Wednesday’s episode. Alexis was awfully riled up about Franco and might try to attack him in this drunken state.

Something is clearly about to go down that’ll require Detective Chase to investigate, so Alexis may have some new legal issuesif she isn’t careful.

Meanwhile, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will catch up again. Curtis will talk about something he doesn’t think is a good idea, so this may be about Jordan Ashford’s (Tiffany Daniels) plea.

Jordan begged Curtis not to shut her out and wanted an evening together without all the fighting, but Curtis couldn’t accept that invitation – no matter how much he wanted to.

However, Portia will offer Curtis another perspective that could force him to rethink Jordan’s request. Over with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), he’ll seemingly get ready to reject a generous offer.

It looks like Dante may reject Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) next idea, but she can always click that handy-dandy pen of hers again if Dante puts up too much of a fight!

In Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) office, Jason will demand some answers. “You want to tell my why you’re threatening Dr. Westbourne?” Jason asks in Thursday’s preview clip. Peter may warn that this is a family matter – one that Jason needs to stay out of.

Nevertheless, Jason will get updates from Britt and realize Peter stole Franco’s medical records for the story. After Britt threatens to call the cops, Jason will urge her not to. He’ll put on a bit of a show for Peter and make him think they’re genuine allies against Franco.

Afterward, Britt will battle doubts about Jason’s new strategy – and we’ll see Britt’s hand shaking in private as well. There’ll be more troubling signs of a mysterious medical condition, so look for new developments on that during February sweeps.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will be found by a state trooper and returned to Lenny Caulfield’s (Rif Hutton) bar. Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) will agree to let Sonny stay there again, but she’ll insist there are going to be some conditions.

Sonny will obviously have to undergo a mental health evaluation and get tested for bipolar disorder. Phyllis may insist that if the doctor confirms her suspicions, Sonny will need to take his meds and listen to her when she tries to help. Sonny should agree to these demands and hopefully get some assistance.

As other GH news emerges, we’ll keep you posted. General Hospital spoilers say some exciting twists and turns are still to come in Sonny’s story, so stay tuned. CDL’s your top source for fantastic General Hospital spoilers, updates and news to read up on, so pop back in frequently.
