General Hospital Spoilers: Thursday, January 7 – Franco’s Drew Memories Terrify Peter – Jordan Tells Cyrus Find Mommy Himself

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, January 7, tease that Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) will lash out at Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). Martin won’t have time for Valentin’s “ridiculous and obsessive hijinks” since his mother’s in trouble.

Valentin will snap at Martin, but then he’ll apologize for being insensitive. Since Valentin likes to think there’s a “friend element” to his relationship with Martin, he’ll want to help. Martin will insist that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) kidnapped Florence Grey (Annie Abbott), so he’ll be all ears on this help of Valentin’s.

At the Metro Court, Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) will worry that maybe he shouldn’t attend the double wedding with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst). Liz will contend that they’re going and that’s that.

Afterward, Franco will speak with Peter August (Wes Ramsey) alone and once again suggest that maybe “Friz” should skip the nuptials. Peter will point out that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) really wants Liz there – and Peter won’t mind the idea of having Franco there as a friendly face.

Franco will confess that he doesn’t have many friends. He’ll mention Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) and the whole affair scheme. Franco will also bring up imprisoned Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and dead Drew Cain (Billy Miller), which will leave Peter looking unsettled.

Talk will turn to Peter saving Franco’s life, which will lead to Franco’s admission that Drew’s memories are coming back to him. Peter will look horrified as Franco talks about seeing a specialist and how this ties to the memory transfer.

At GH, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will literally run into Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and send papers flying everywhere. Britt will lash out, but she’ll take a sniff of the perfume and instantly realize it’s Liesl. After Britt threatens to call the cops, Liesl will show proof that she was released with the WSB’s apologies.

Britt will go into a private room with Liesl, who’ll explain that she’s there to bring down Britt’s treacherous brother. Liesl will fear that if the wrong people get wind of her being back in town, Peter will find out and cover his tracks.

It could give Peter a chance to lay blame elsewhere – like on Britt. Britt will believe in Peter’s love for Maxie and his family, but she’ll agree to keep Liesl’s secret.

As for Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), she’ll catch up with Dante Falconeri after a close call with Liesl. Obrecht will get away before Anna can identify her, but Anna will ultimately focus on Dante and his issues. Dante will seem irritated by Anna’s questions about his treatment. He’ll get her to level with him, so Anna will admit that she feels Dante is unwell.

Anna also won’t buy the story of Dr. Warren Kirk’s (Jamison Jones) murder, but Dante will want to concentrate on keeping Rocco Falconeri (O’Neill Monahan) and the other kids of Port Charles safe. He’ll wonder if Anna can say the same and strut off angrily.

At Charlie’s Pub, Ava will talk to Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) about being the executor of Julian Jerome’s (William deVry) estate. They’ll be sorting through some of Julian’s old belongings before Laura Collins (Genie Francis) arrives with shocking news. Nikolas will be floored to learn Martin and Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) are Laura’s half-brothers.

Soon after, Laura will receive word from Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) about Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom). She’ll get Ava and Nikolas to come to GH, where Kevin will explain that Ryan suffered brain damage that led to locked-in syndrome – which is similar to the effects of a stroke. There was blocked blood flow and now Ryan has near complete paralysis.

Ryan can move his arms a bit, hear and think according to Kevin. Ryan is still in there, but he’s trapped. Ava will eventually move in close once she’s alone with Ryan. She’ll dig her heels in and see that Ryan didn’t flinch.

Ava will tell Nikolas that Ryan’s condition is either real or he’s developed a masochistic strength. Ryan will be taken away for transfer to a minimum-security facility until further decisions can be made about his long-term care. As Ryan’s waiting in the wheelchair for his elevator, he’ll smirk slightly.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Cyrus will barge in Jordan Ashford’s (Briana Nicole Henry) office and expect her to do something about his missing mom. Cyrus will want Jason to go down for this, too. Jordan will argue that Vermont is way out of her jurisdiction, so there’s nothing she can do from PC.

After Cyrus tosses threats around, Jordan will insist she’s done doing his bidding as well as lying and protecting him. Cyrus will seem bewildered as he wonders what Jordan’s saying. Jordan will tell Cyrus to go find “Mommy” himself!

Jordan will even rub it in about how she felt when TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) was missing and will basically seem to enjoy the fact that Cyrus is suffering.

Cyrus will make it clear that there’ll be consequences, but Jordan will think it’s a level-playing field now. She’ll feel like Cyrus only came to her as a last resort – and he won’t kidnap a Corinthos because it’d mean risking Florence.

After Cyrus storms out, Jordan will look at missing Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) case file. She’ll take a call as she stares at it and thank the person on the other end for the update.

Jordan will tell the caller not to say anything and will promise to take care of it. Once Jordan hangs up, she’ll fling papers across the room in frustration.

Back with Laura, she’ll find Cyrus at GH and insist she made some inquiries. Although Laura still won’t know where Florence is, she’ll have reason to believe Cyrus’ mom is safe. That won’t be good enough for Cyrus, who’ll glare at Laura menacingly.

Finally, Kevin will bump into Anna and learn Dr. Kirk was murdered. When Anna asks about Dr. Kirk’s work, Kevin will share that he was a neuropsychiatrist. Dr. Kirk was developing experimental means of altering brain function to tease brain disease or disorders.

Anna will find that unusual, so Kevin will explain that Dr. Kirk had a military background and helped patients tackle psychological warfare.
