General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, October 14, tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will want the truth about Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) wedding night. Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will also tell Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) to fight for her man, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
At the boxing gym, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will hint to Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) that she’s working on Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) from a different angle.
After Maxie hears about the HIPAA violation drama Brook Lynn’s stirring up, she may think that’s going too far.
After all, this is Austin’s career and reputation we’re talking about. Austin also genuinely wants to help Leo Falconeri (Easton Rocket Sweda), so Maxie may feel like Brook Lynn’s being ice cold under the circumstances.
As Austin meets with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) about the complaint, he’ll decide he wants a lawyer present. That’s a good idea considering how low Brook Lynn was willing to sink.
Maxie will eventually meet up with Austin and get a warning, so he may address Maxie’s recent realization that she’s friends with Brook Lynn.
With friends like Brook Lynn, who needs enemies? At least that’s how Austin will probably feel about it!
Speaking of friends, Cameron Webber (William Lipton) will be in the position to help one – but only if he tells the truth.
Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will put Cam through a grilling session at the PCPD, so this should be about the crimes that led to Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Chavez) arrest.
Next, Spencer will have a tense meeting with someone, so it could be Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) who reaches out.
“Is that all you care about?” Spencer snaps in Thursday’s GH preview video. There’ll be plenty of tension remaining between Nikolas and Spencer – mostly due to Ava’s decision to have Spencer thrown behind bars.
Over with Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla), she’ll be taken aback due to her own feelings.
Despite Trina’s anger over Spencer’s actions, she’ll probably still feel drawn to him. There’s just something about Spencer that pulls Trina in, so there’s still hope for these two as a couple down the road.
In the meantime, Carly will push Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) to let something go. “Like you did?” Joss fires back in Thursday’s preview clip.
Josslyn may think the pot’s calling the kettle black since Carly was so focused on revenge recently.
However, Carly will insist she’s trying to back off Nina and may want Josslyn to do the same when it comes to Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl).
Perhaps Carly will feel like Joss needs to let Spencer handle Esme and avoid stirring up more trouble.
Of course, Josslyn can’t do that when she feels like Spencer’s being manipulated by his nightmare of a girlfriend. She’ll definitely be keeping a close eye on Esme and waiting for her to trip up.
Back with Britt, she’ll keep mulling over whether she’s going to ask Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) for help with the Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) search. It’s not the ideal situation, but Britt has to do whatever it takes to find Liesl.
As for Jason, he’ll be busy facing Sonny’s difficult questions. After Nina’s comment at Crimson, Sonny thought back to catching Jason and Carly in the bedroom on their wedding night.
“What would’ve happened if I hadn’t walked in?” Sonny demands to know in Thursday’s preview video.
Jason will be uncomfortable tackling this topic and may encourage Sonny to get most of his answers from his wife.
Carly is perhaps the better person to explain, but Sonny will no doubt want to hear Jason’s perspective. He’s eager to find out if Jason and Carly would’ve slept together if the timing hadn’t worked in his favor.
Jason may admit the marriage became real in the end, so the wedding night would’ve been a real one, too.
Even so, there’s no point in wondering what might’ve been since Sonny’s back home where he belongs. Jason will think that’s what Sonny should be concentrating on.
In Nina’s office, she’ll open up now that Ava knows the truth about “Mike” aka Sonny.
Ava will surprise Nina by suggesting she thinks the two of them still have a chance. She’ll be “Team Nina” and won’t want her to give up hope on the idea of a future with Sonny.
General Hospital spoilers say Sonny and Nina will indeed remain drawn to each other despite the ground rules, so stay tuned.
