General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, September 16, tease that trapped Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will face a surprise visitor – and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will be too busy for Jasper “Jax” Jacks’ (Ingo Rademacher) call. Vincent Novak (Glenn Taranto) will also deliver an apology, but it won’t be legit on Thursday’s thrilling episode.
As Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) waits for the wedding to begin, he’ll once again try to convince Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) that Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) may be onto something.
Ned won’t see the harm in letting Leo Falconeri (Easton Rocket Sweda) talk to a specialist, but Olivia may suggest tabling this discussion until after the nuptials are over.
Meanwhile, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) will show up as Vincent’s plus one.
When Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) speaks with Gladys and Vincent, he’ll take a moment to defend Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). “Jason deserves his share as well,” Brando insists in Thursday’s GH preview clip.
Of course, Vincent will act like this is a day of celebration and will even offer some form of an apology to the groom. Jason won’t look like he really buys it, but he’ll trust that the security team has everything handled and will focus on his impending marriage.
However, the other key mob players in this story will have a clandestine meeting to ensure everything’s set for the warehouse attack, which is set to happen during the wedding.
That should bring some bad news for Jason and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) later, but they’ll be on cloud nine for now.
Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla), on the other hand, will be rather down in the dumps. She’ll fill Cameron Webber (William Lipton) in on the latest Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) and Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) drama, so Cam will provide some support.
In fact, Cameron will team up with Trina against Esme in the coming episodes, so this will serve as the start of that partnership.
In Nixon Falls, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will remain frantic over the fiery situation “Mike” aka Sonny is stuck in. Sonny got knocked out during the rescue, so he’s stuck in the blaze – and Jax is refusing to let Nina go back inside.
General Hospital spoilers say the shocking return of an old pal will be a game-changer. It’d bring everything full circle if that old pal actually turned out to be Sonny’s father, Mike Corbin (Max Gail).
Mike was the one who convinced Sonny to fight for his life and regain consciousness when he first came out of the river. It makes sense that Mike might visit Sonny again and push for the same thing.
Then again, it might be someone like Stone Cates (Michael Sutton) who reaches out, but the point is Sonny may have a ghostly visitor who causes him to fight once more.
When Sonny wakes up, he may find that that blow to the head has unleashed a flood of familiar memories. As for Nina, she’ll tell Jax about Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) visit and all the threats he made before starting the fire.
It won’t be long until Jax calls Maxie to warn her, but she’ll be too busy to talk with all the wedding prep that’s going on.
Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) will hint about something he can neither confirm nor deny, but one thing’s for sure: Maxie will be ready to get this show on the road!
Maxie willl tell Carly, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) before the wedding officially begins.
