General Hospital Spoilers: Tuesday, August 24 Recap – Real Nurse Chloe Helps Drew – Sonny Meets ‘Peter Sinclair’ Famous Author

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Tuesday, August 24, reveals that the real Nurse Chloe Jennings (Phoebe Kuhlman) helped Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) while Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) met “Peter Sinclair” aka Peter August (Wes Ramsey), who posed as a famous author. Here’s how it all went down on Tuesday’s action-packed episode.

In Nixon Falls, Peter reeled at the sight of Sonny, who wondered if he was all right and thought Peter looked like he’d seen a ghost.

Peter quickly realized that Sonny didn’t remember who he was, so Peter introduced himself as a well-known author named Peter Sinclair and suggested a case of wanderlust had brought him there.

The Tan-O was closed, but “Mike” started to say his girlfriend could offer Peter some water – though he corrected that to friend.

Peter agreed if it wasn’t too much trouble and walked inside, causing Nina to drop a tray of glasses and shatter them in shock.

After Peter greeted Nina by name, he tried to act like they once ran in the same publishing circles. Sonny hinted about how he’d woken up with no memory and intrigued Peter.

When somewhat suspicious Sonny left the pair alone, Peter taunted Nina about the mess she’d gotten herself into while Nina put her hand on the gun in the lockbox.

In captivity, Drew had a vision of Sam with Scout Cain (Ella Ramacieri) before the real Nurse Chloe appeared and patched up his wound from a recent beating.

Drew was taken aback to learn Chloe was also a hostage and found out the story of her abduction. They heard a fellow female prisoner scream who had recently been transferred there, so Chloe was adamant about staying in line.

However, Drew felt that Chloe could earn the guards’ trust and plot an escape.

Drew gave her the pen he’d stolen to pick the lock of his handcuffs, which Chloe showed the guards and earned a pat on the back for.

Drew took another beating, but he felt it was worth it since he was determined to make it home to Scout.

In Port Charles, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) complained to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) about all the time Scout had lost with her father.

Sam wanted to kill Peter with her bare hands for it, but Dante offered his perspective about choosing to do right by Rocco Falconeri (O’Neill Monahan) in the here and now.

Once Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) called Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) to let her know she was back in PC, Maxie made her way to the Metro Court.

As for Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), they established that they should probably invite all the five families to the wedding to make sure they didn’t pull any stunts.

Of course, that meant this wedding couldn’t be an intimate affair. Carly and Jason established that the nuptials needed to be legit and very public.

When Maxie found Jason and Carly discussing the venue and minister, she offered her services as a wedding planner and insisted it’d be a nice distraction for her.

When Jason said the budget was “whatever,” Maxie was ecstatic at the idea of the sky being the limit. She intended to make this the wedding of the century, so the distraction planned indeed seemed to be working.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) tried to break it as gently as possible that she needed an annulment.

Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) surprised both Willow and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) by revealing that he knew all of it – that they were in love, that the marriage was done out of pity and that they had slept together at the gatehouse.

At GH, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) refused to let Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) take her vacation days, so Liz went to Terry Randolph and got her days off approved through her instead.

When Britt realized Terry had undermined her decision, she lashed out – though Terry argued she was just trying to help out a friend.

Terry wound up confronting Liz, who hadn’t revealed that Britt turned her down first.

Britt overheard Terry and seemed pleased over the scolding, so she went back to Liz and suggested that Amy Driscoll (Risa Dorken) was looking to pick up some extra shifts.

Britt was sure they could work it out and made an effort to be pleasant to Liz about her upcoming camping trip.

Afterward, Britt and Terry established that they were willing to work together and shook hands on being partners.

Willow and Michael tried to explain themselves, but Chase was clearly upset over being lied to. He was at least glad they were being honest now and decided it was his turn.

Chase got up from his wheelchair and revealed he could walk before revealing the paper he’d retrieved for Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth), which proved Edward Quartermaine (John Ingle) wanted to change his will.

Michael and Willow seemed stunned over the idea that Chase would betray Michael by helping Austin.

As for Brook Lynn, she bickered with Austin after letting him in the house.

Brook Lynn didn’t think Chase would go against her family, but Austin felt like it would be Chase’s choice to make.

After Brook Lynn and Austin entered the living room, they walked in on Chase, Michael and Willow’s tense moment.

Austin was there to get the proof Chase had offered him, so that only made the tense mood worse!

General Hospital spoilers say Austin still has a few tricks up his sleeve, so stay tuned.
