General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Tuesday, December 14, tease that Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) deadly Peter August (Wes Ramsey) mission will be thwarted, so that means Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will get some bad news. Brad Cooper’s (Parry Shen) parole hearing will also get underway, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
At GH, Liz has decided to take matters into her own hands, so she just approached unconscious Peter with a scalpel. Maxie is rooting for Peter to die, but it doesn’t look like it’ll happen now or because of Liz.
There’s a good chance Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) or someone else trustworthy will return just in time to stop Liz from making a big mistake.
It’d be a terrible idea for Liz to take this kind of risk, especially since getting caught would mean leaving her boys without a parent to take care of them.
General Hospital spoilers say Maxie will wait for updates and won’t be pleased over Peter’s survival. She’s eager to get Louise August back home where she belongs, but she can’t expose the truth about “Bailey Quartermaine” until she’s sure Peter is no longer a threat.
“Who would go to that kind of trouble?” Finn wonders aloud to Maxie in Tuesday’s preview video. That conversation could tie in with Louise’s kidnapping, which GH fans know isn’t a kidnapping at all.
Regardless, Maxie will continue to put Louise first – and that means Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) has to keep pretending to be this little girl’s mother for now.
Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) will deliver the latest news on Peter to Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), who’ll certainly be rooting for Peter’s grim fate as well. That day may not be here just yet, but Britt will hold out hope that Peter will pay a fatal price sooner or later.
As for Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), he’ll tell Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) that he’s “never been more sure about anything” in his life.
Michael will want to make a statement to the parole board and push for Brad to serve out his entire sentence, but things won’t play out the way he wants.
Thanks to Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) deal with Selina Wu (Lydia Look), his guy on the parole board will vote for Brad’s early release.
It looks like that’ll be enough to secure Brad’s freedom, so Michael certainly won’t be pleased over this outcome.
Over with Sonny, he’ll tell Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) there’s nowhere he’d rather be. Sonny will make a surprise gesture, so perhaps that’ll involve devoting some time to his romance.
There’s still work to be done when it comes to “CarSon” getting back on track as a couple, but they could take another step forward together.
Unfortunately, Sonny’s still sitting on a major secret since Carly doesn’t know he was in love with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) in Nixon Falls.
That shocker will blow up Carly and Sonny’s relationship all over again down the road, so stay tuned for more drama.
Until then, Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) will reel over Marshall Ashford’s (Robert Gossett) arrival since he just interrupted her chat with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner).
Once Curtis brings Stella up to speed, Stella will have to set the record straight on a few things.
“That’s not exactly true,” Stella says as she stares Marshall down on Tuesday’s episode.
It’s possible Stella knew Marshall was alive all along and simply decided he was dead to the family. That could leave Curtis feeling betrayed all over again and completely fed up with all these family secrets.
Finally, Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will want to get some answers about what’s next for Liam Corbin, though he already seems to know deep down.
After Brando has another conversation with Britt and the neonatologist, he should be the one to help Sasha understand that Liam’s fight is over.
There’s no hope for Liam to have a real future, so they have to prepare to take him off life support.
General Hospital spoilers say Brando and Sasha have some sad struggles ahead.
