General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Tuesday, December 21, tease that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will make a shocking discovery while Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) has a romantic quiz for Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst). Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will also surprise “Santa” when she reunites with Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) as he’s spreading some holiday cheer.
For starters, Laura will stun Kevin when she shows up at GH. Kevin will have a Santa suit on as he delivers presents to the children at the hospital, but he’ll get the best gift of all when Laura returns out of the blue.
Laura wanted this to be a surprise, so it’ll certainly be a good one for Kevin.
In the meantime, Drew will catch up with Liz when they cross paths at Kelly’s. They’ll naturally discuss Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) demise as well as the death of Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth).
Drew will also be curious about whether Liz is ready to turn the page and find someone special, so she may admit she already has.
Even so, Liz is struggling with the idea of diving into a new romance with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton). Perhaps Drew can offer advice and help Liz take another step toward truly moving on.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will show up with a special request for Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton). “Mind if we come in?” Valentin asks in Tuesday’s preview video.
Brook Lynn will wonder who Valentin’s brought with him as she holds “Bailey Quartermaine” aka Louise August (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt) in her arms.
It looks like Valentin may bring Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) for a visit with her former baby sister.
Charlotte may be irritated with Brook Lynn over her lies, but at least she can still spend a little time with “Bailey” for the holidays.
Across town, Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) will run into Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and stick up for Spencer. She’ll feel like Nikolas is being a bit of a hypocrite and will call him out on it.
Spencer will dress up as a Christmas elf along with Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), so that’ll lead to some flirty moments with his girlfriend.
After Spencer admires Esme and suggests he knows what he wants for Christmas this year, he may spot Laura and have a heartfelt reunion with his grandmother.
However, some drama will come later since Spencer will find Nikolas and Trina having an intense conversation.
It looks like Spencer will misconstrue Trina’s motives and push her to back off, so their already fragile friendship will take a hit over what he views as a betrayal.
Next, Finn and Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) will enjoy a little tea party with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
It’ll be a fun way to celebrate the holiday season and will give Anna a chance to put a smile on Finn’s face.
“It’s inevitable whether you like it or not,” Anna says in Tuesday’s preview clip. She earns a grin from Finn, so this might involve some teasing about the doc finding love in his life again.
Over with Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy), he’ll have a run-in with Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) and offer a reminder that danger lurks around every corner.
Ava can tell that Victor has the potential to cause even more trouble, so she’ll definitely stay on guard.
The same goes for Laura, who’ll warn Kevin about the threat in their own family.
Laura may have a hunch that Victor was behind the latest safe house attack now that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) has denied it – and GH fans know that’s exactly who made a move to flush Laura out of hiding.
Port Charles’ tree-lighting ceremony is also coming up in Tuesday’s show, so that’ll bring many PC residents together to celebrate this festive occasion.
