General Hospital Spoilers Update: Friday, June 18 – Novak Family Threat – Dante & Austin Forest Fiasco – Violet & Chase Bond

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, June 18, teases that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will have a baby freak-out while a new lead emerges on Peter August (Wes Ramsey). We’ll also see some bittersweet bonding between Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), so there’ll be a lot going on as the week winds down.

First on Friday’s episode, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will reach a place of total desperation. She’ll call up Brook Lynn and push to see Louise August aka “Bailey Quartermaine” (Harper and Scarlett Bloom), but Brook Lynn will sound the alarm.

Naturally, Brook Lynn will think the last thing Maxie should be doing is clinging to “Bailey” and helping anyone connect the dots.

After Brook Lynn lectures Maxie on the dangers of being around “Bailey,” she’ll push Maxie not to blow their plot with a careless move. Maxie will reluctantly back down, but she’ll still miss her daughter and long to be close to her.

Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will head to Maxie’s place soon after with questions about the security camera footage in Pautauk. Maxie’s story doesn’t line up with what was captured on that video, so Sam will urge Maxie to explain why.

Maxie indeed lied to Sam and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), but she’ll have to fix this by piling on even more deception. Perhaps Maxie will act like she was too frazzled and emotional to remember correctly.

Maxie may change her story based on the security footage and argue that she’s thinking more clearly now.

Sam will still seem suspicious as Maxie tries to sell this new version of events. She won’t get why Maxie would want to hold back when a missing child is at risk.

Maxie should stay tight-lipped about her baby plot with Brook Lynn, so Sam will walk away without all the answers she needs.

As for Maxie, her desire to see Louise is only going to grow stronger. Look for Maxie to ignore Brook Lynn’s wishes and pay a visit to the Quartermaine mansion in the week ahead.

In the meantime, Dante and Austin (Roger Howarth) will team up in the Pautauk forest. There’ll be an area that hasn’t been searched yet, so Austin will draw Dante’s attention to it.

Things will take a startling turn when Austin pummels into Dante and tries to send him hurling to the ground.

It’ll be a sneak attack since Dante will have his back turned. Austin is a strange guy who’s obviously hiding some secrets, but it doesn’t look like this will be a nefarious move.

We might see Austin push Dante to make sure he steers clear of some perilous situation. There’s even a chance Austin will be mistaken about Dante’s identity for a moment.

Regardless, Austin won’t be thrown in jail for assaulting a cop, so we have to believe this is some sort of misunderstanding.

Next, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will dig for more info about Peter and his location. Peter’s body was stored in the freezer of the sub-basement lab at GH, but Anna will continue to pursue the helicopter angle on Friday.

Anna will fill Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) in on a new lead, so that may involve grilling the pilot who was originally supposed to pick Peter up.

Brick (Stephen A. Smith) will return on Friday’s episode, so he’ll have some advice for Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). In addition to Brick’s surveillance expertise, he’ll also have some guidance about avoiding another mob battle.

It’s just not a good idea since Carly and Jason literally just wrapped up one with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).

However, this may be out of Jason and Carly’s control – especially if some dark forces are at work. We might see the Novak family prey on the Corinthos organization if they sense that it’s weak.

Whatever the case, it’s concerning that shipments and drivers are starting to vanish. This is a crisis that could get worse, so Carly and Jason will have to get a grip on it ASAP.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Violet will be oblivious to the somber side of Chase’s big day. Chase will manage to put a suit on ahead of his wedding to Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), but he’ll still be fading fast.

Violet will think Uncle Chase is lucky to be getting married – and he won’t disagree since he loves Willow with all his heart. Chase adores Violet as well, so he may get choked up since this could be one of the last moments he has with his niece.

Fortunately, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) has a plan to save Chase from the deadly outcome that awaits. Once the new paternity test results come in, they’ll let Finn know he was right.

Finn can move forward with finishing this new cure and ultimately administering it.

Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) may want to let Finn know she put out an Anna fire, but she’ll quickly sense he has something else on his mind.

Finn will be thrilled over this cure breakthrough, so he’ll explain that he needed a DNA sample from Chase’s true father – and that’s Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison).

Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will be busy prepping for her GH wedding, so she’ll get some last-minute assistance from Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney).

Sasha will have a conversation alone with Willow, who’ll try to stay strong and focus on making this sacrifice for Chase’s sake.

Willow will believe she’s doing what’s best for Chase – and Sasha should agree it’ll make his last night alive special.

It looks like Chase and Willow may tie the knot before Finn can produce the cure, so that should bring a marriage dilemma when Chase ends up surviving!

We’ll offer updates as other news becomes available. General Hospital spoilers say Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will get stuck in this mess as well, so stay tuned. CDL will have lots of other terrific soap spoilers, updates and news, so stop by regularly.
