General Hospital Spoilers Update: Friday, May 7 – Sam Loyal to Jason - Brook Lynn in Hiding – Sonny Touches Carly's Heart

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, May 7, teases that Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will push Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) to stay put. The longer Chase is forced to remain cooped up at GH, the more frustrated he becomes.

Despite Chase’s growing desire to get out of there, Finn will insist he can’t leave just yet.

Nevertheless, Finn will hold out hope that a more permanent solution can be reached for this poisoning crisis. The problem is Peter August (Wes Ramsey) is running the show – and he obviously can’t be trusted!

Friday’s General Hospital episode will bring Peter’s suspicions at Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) place. Maxie will be on edge as Peter figures out someone else got there before him. Peter will suspect this person is still in the apartment, so he’ll ask plenty of questions and try to pry the truth out of Maxie.

Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Sutton) will face a hurdle according to General Hospital spoilers, so that’ll probably involve this Peter visit. Will Brook Lynn get busted hiding out in a backroom or will Maxie be able to cover?

Let’s hope it’s the latter since there could be big trouble if Peter realizes Maxie’s cooking something up with Brook Lynn.

The last thing Maxie and Brook Lynn need is Peter finding out about the plan to fake Baby Lou’s death. Maxie will work hard to keep Peter out of the loop while Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) comes clean to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).

After Anna admits she blabbed to Finn, Valentin will worry Peter could discover the secret spillage and strike back.

Anna felt she had no choice since Finn deserved all the facts, but Peter warned her not to breathe a word to Finn or anybody else. Finn also wound up spilling the Peter poisoner news to Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), so there’s the potential for trouble if this secret keeps spreading.

Next, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) won’t be too happy with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zampronga). Of course, Dante isn’t too happy with Sam either since she went against the conditions they agreed upon. Sam has already blown her deal with Dante by going rogue, so Dante will insist on taking her in for questioning.

It sounds like Sam’s loyalty to Jason will stir up more trouble, but Sam will remain determined to help track Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) down.

In the coming episodes, Sam and Dante should give this deal of theirs another shot. Let’s just hope they can actually work together next time.

Until then, we should talk about Olivia Quartermaine’s (Lisa LoCicero) bond with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers). Olivia will open up to Robert on Friday’s GH episode and strengthen their connection in the process.

Brook Lynn seems to see the potential for more than friendship here – and Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) did as well before all the marriage mayhem erupted.

Ned and Olivia’s relationship is still in rocky territory, but Olivia finds it easy to talk to Robert and confide her problems. That’ll be the case on Friday, but Olivia will laugh off the idea of anything romantic happening between them.

Even so, never say never on an Olivia and Robert romance! It could be something that General Hospital writers pursue at some point, but Brook Lynn will work on fixing things between Olivia and Ned for now.

Over with Cameron Webber (William Lipton), he’ll stun Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) with updates on his arrest after all the parking garage chaos. Cameron should also reveal that he now knows Josslyn was right – that Jason is innocent when it comes to Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) murder.

General Hospital spoilers say Cameron will deliver a sincere apology, so Josslyn should accept it and be relieved that Cam’s seen the light. Meanwhile, Liz and Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) will understand each other’s pain when it comes to the never-ending worries they have about their children.

As for Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), she’ll stand by Chase and put her own dreams on hold. Willow and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) already agreed that Chase had to be the focus for a while. However, Willow may be stuck in limbo with Michael for longer than they anticipated.

There’ll be another discussion on Friday, but Michael and Willow will agree Chase’s recovery is the priority. Willow and Michael will continue to look forward to their bright future, but they’ll feel like there’ll be plenty of time for that once Chase is better.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will appear to Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), who could use some comfort and guidance. This obviously won’t be the real thing, but even a fantasy version will help at this point.

Carly will talk to this Sonny vision and hope she’s doing the right thing by taking his seat at the table. She’ll seek Sonny’s approval on the moves she’s making since she’s fighting hard to protect their family.

General Hospital fans will see Sonny give Carly a response, so hopefully that’ll involve some words of wisdom and a way to touch Carly’s heart. As other GH info comes in, we’ll bring you the latest details.

It sounds like the week will end on an exciting note, so be sure to tune in for another fantastic episode! CDL’s the place to be for sizzling General Hospital spoilers, updates and news, so stop by again soon.
