General Hospital Spoilers Update: Monday, April 19 – Peter Poison Sparks Jason's Next Move – Cyrus Celebrates

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, April 19, teases that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will feel guilty as she visits Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) in prison. Anna will blame herself for not seeing the signs and for refusing to listen to any of Jason’s warnings.

Peter August (Wes Ramsey) framed Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and then framed Jason, but Jason won’t think they need to worry about the past anymore. They have to focus on what they can do now, so Anna will discuss the plan she’s been working on with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright).

Carly and Anna are hoping to prove that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) paid Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) to lie about seeing Jason stash the murder weapon. When Jason wonders if Anna and Carly made any progress, Anna will admit they did – but now the plan’s on hold.

It’ll immediately dawn on Jason that Peter’s got something on Anna. Although Anna can’t get into the details of the deal Peter demanded, she may admit it’s a matter of life and death.

That’ll bring Anna to the reason for her visit. She’s having a hard time keeping her ally under control, so she may push Jason to have a little chat with Carly and help her understand.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) could end up taking a beating in the women’s section of Pentonville. Hilda has decided she hates Alexis for no real reason and violently lashed out over Alexis’ comment about the crazy weather.

GH fans will see Hilda plan to teach Alexis a lesson that she won’t soon forget.

Hilda might wind up getting a few good swings in, so we’ll see how much damage is done. In the meantime, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will lay down the law with Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma).

Laura will order Nikolas to call off his scheme and leave Florence Grey (Annie Abbott) where she is since doing business with Cyrus is a terrible idea.

Carly will also try to shut down Nikolas plan, so look for her to attempt both an angry approach and a softer one to tug at Nikolas’ heartstrings. It doesn’t look like either strategy will work, but Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) should stand by her man no matter what.

Nikolas will want to move forward with snatching Florence back and returning her to Cyrus, but there could be a twist that changes the game. If Nikolas gets updates on Alexis’ prison attack, he may assume that Cyrus ordered it or at least that protection isn’t guaranteed.

Why would Nikolas give Cyrus a darn thing if he’s not going to keep his end of the bargain?

This could lead to Nikolas calling off his plan after all, but we’ll just have to see how it goes. In the meantime, Cyrus will look forward to reuniting with his mother. He’ll gloat to Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) and suggest a celebration once Florence is back with her family.

Cyrus will also pay Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) a visit, so maybe he’ll want to rent out the nightclub or something along those lines. He may insist the return of his mother deserves a party, but Cyrus certainly won’t be welcome at The Savoy.

Curtis may insist Cyrus’ money is no good there and push him to back off. Cyrus will push back, but Curtis will advise the baddie to leave. He won’t think Cyrus wants to find out what he’s capable of.

Across town, Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) will reflect on her looming divorce and perhaps want to have a pity party for one. Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) is living with Jordan right now, but he’ll sense that she doesn’t really want him around.

Jordan may argue that it’s nothing personal; she’s just struggling to come to grips with Curtis’ decision to end things. After Jordan confides her heartbreak, Taggert will step up to be there for his old partner in her time of need.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Cameron Webber (William Lipton) will extend an olive branch to Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). He’ll really hope they can move past all the drama since he misses his friend.

Unfortunately, Cameron’s insistence that Jason killed Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) will once again prove to be an issue, so look for another huge fight between Cam and Joss.

As for Josslyn’s future, she’s still hoping to be taken off the waitlist at Southern Coastal University, but Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) may have other plans for her.

Joss also got in PCU and scored a coveted spot on their volleyball team, so Trina may paint a picture of Joss becoming a star player and having a fulfilling college experience right there in town.

If Josslyn can’t get on board with Trina’s vision for the future, she’ll think that’s Joss’ loss then! Trina always knows how to lift Josslyn’s spirits, so she’ll indeed bring a smile to her pal’s face on Monday, April 19.

Trina might open Josslyn’s mind to PCU being a better option or at least cheer Joss up following her confrontation with Cam.
