General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, April 26, teases that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will battle concerns as he continues to wait for a diagnosis and a treatment plan.
Chase will confess how scared he is and will get some comfort from Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), so the ailing detective will be hopeful about a new chapter with the woman he loves.
Of course, Willow won’t mention that she intends to break up with Chase and move on with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) once he recovers! As for Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), he’ll feel powerless to help Chase since he won’t make much progress on figuring out the antidote.
Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will end up curious about what Finn’s working on, but it seems Finn may shift Liz’s attention to Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) murderer.
Finn will ask if Elizabeth is still convinced of something, so this may link to a discussion about who actually killed Franco. It could give Finn a chance to trash Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and insist he needs to pay!
Speaking of Peter, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will head to Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) apartment for a discussion about him. As much as Anna hates to do it, she’ll have a Peter-related request to make.
Anna has to keep Peter placated for the time being, so she’ll hope Maxie will agree to the visit he’s demanded.
Maxie should get on board when she learns someone could die if she doesn’t do her part. Peter also wants to be in the delivery room with Maxie, but she’ll no doubt have to draw the line there!
Maxie’s plot to pretend her baby’s stillborn can’t work if Peter witnesses a perfectly healthy girl coming into the world.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will make a frantic phone call as she tries to nail down a plan to borrow a baby.
Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will wind up giving Brook Lynn a crucial piece of the puzzle since she knows Maxie’s going to fake her newborn daughter’s demise.
It seems Olivia may mention something to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and give Brook Lynn a chance to overhear. Brook Lynn will learn enough to know that she could help Maxie and get some help in return! She may call Maxie to set up an ASAP meeting about a baby bargain.
In the meantime, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Elijah Crowe (Dan White) will push each other’s buttons in Nixon Falls. Sonny will think of something to tell the cops regarding Elijah – and he’ll threaten to pass it along if the cops indeed come back around.
Elijah might face Sonny’s accusations about being tied to the gunmen or something along those lines. Bottom line, “Mike” doesn’t trust Elijah and will hope he leaves his friends alone!
Next, Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) will sense that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) perhaps still has feelings for Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher). Nina will be a mess over Jax’s condition at the clinic, so Phyllis may wonder if Nina still wants a future with her ex.
Nina won’t be certain Jax would even take her back, but Phyllis probably won’t see why not. However, Phyllis doesn’t realize that Nina’s been keeping “Mike” aka Sonny from all his loved ones back in Port Charles!
As Nina sits by Jax’s bedside, she’ll feel like the jig is up when it comes to keeping Sonny’s survival under wraps.
Nina won’t think it matters anymore and will just want Jax to wake up. Suddenly, Jax will start to stir – and he’ll blurt out the name Sonny soon after.
Nina will determine that maybe she can swing this back in her favor after all, so she’ll act like Jax just imagined Sonny following his gunshot wound.
Nina will note that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) must miss Sonny and has likely been mentioning him to Jax. She’ll suggest that put the presumed dead mob boss on Jax’s mind, so he’ll be rather bewildered as he guesses that’s it.
Nina will feel like she dodged a bullet, but another one will be speeding in her direction. That’s because Sonny will mosey over to the clinic and push to meet Jax for himself.
Sonny may want to chew the guy out for bothering Nina, but he’ll also hope to check on Jax and thank him for his role in helping with one of the gunmen.
General Hospital spoilers say Nina will realize she has to do everything in her power to keep Sonny out of Jax’s room! As other news and updates emerge, we’ll fill you in.
