General Hospital Spoilers Update: Monday, May 24 – Clearing Jason’s Name – Sasha Mercy Hospital Transfer – Britt’s Fate Decided

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, May 24, teases that Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will carry out a Mercy Hospital transfer plan while Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) awaits her moment of truth. Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) fate will also be at stake as Carly keeps fighting hard for his freedom.

Over with Britt and Jason, they’ll still be in Canada waiting for Britt’s test results. Those results will eventually come in, so Jason will offer updates to Britt soon after.

Of course, Jason may insist it’s not too late for Britt to back out. If Britt decides she doesn’t want to know whether she has the genetic marker for Huntington’s disease, then she doesn’t have to read the results at all.

However, not knowing has perhaps been tougher than even knowing she had it. The uncertainty is crushing Britt, so it looks like she’ll finally take a peek at those results – and we’re betting she’ll get good news.

Back in Port Charles, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will keep doing whatever she can to clear Jason’s name. Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) is a crucial part of that plan, so Carly will remind Gladys of that and insist she has to recant her statement about Jason.

Once Gladys admits she lied, she can implicate Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and have him sent to prison once again. Carly will think Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will be safe with Cyrus locked up, but what’s to stop him from hiring a hit man to do his dirty work as usual?

Even with Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) fighting to privatize Pentonville, Cyrus is a crafty guy who’s capable of anything. If Cyrus wants Brando dead, there may not be much Gladys or anyone else can do to stop him.

Gladys may mention that and grow concerned about her own prison fate if she confesses she lied to the cops. However, Diane Miller (Carolyn Henessy) will promise to do everything in her power to downplay Gladys’ role and make sure Cyrus is the one who faces the most serious ramifications.

Perhaps Diane will suggest claiming that Gladys feared for her life when she went along with Cyrus’ instructions.

Brando will be off cornering Sasha at GH since she’ll be there with a goal in mind. When Brando voices concern over being somewhere in Cyrus’ domain, Sasha will suggest that’s precisely why she made the trip.

Sasha will want to have her medical records sent over to Mercy Hospital so that she won’t have any unnecessary Cyrus run-ins – and he won’t have access to any of her info.

Brando will agree that’s a great idea and will be thankful that Sasha’s letting him be part of the pregnancy process.

Sasha will wonder if Brando would like to tag along when she visits her OB-GYN again, so Brando will happily accept the invitation. Both Sasha and Brando will see the potential to become a sweet family, but they’ll have to keep Cyrus at bay.

Sasha will soon realize that could be tougher than she anticipated. After Cyrus drops by to see Peter August (Wes Ramsey), he’ll push his partner in crime to do some spying. Peter will do what he’s told and notice that Sasha’s meeting with Brando on the sly.

Once Peter runs into Sasha and drops a hint or two, Sasha will battle some worries.

Sasha will fret over the possibility that Peter will stir up trouble – and that’s indeed what Peter will do when he reports back to Cyrus with updates on Sasha’s conversation with Brando.

Cyrus will discover Brando is the father of Sasha’s unborn child within the next couple episodes, so that’ll lead to a vicious plot and extreme danger for Brando.

As for Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), she’ll have to hide her true fears and agenda from Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson). Spinelli will suspect he’s got it all figured out, so Maxie may let him think so!

In reality, Spinelli should have no idea that Maxie intends to fake Baby Lou’s death and keep Peter away through the lie. Maxie can’t let too many people in the loop, so it’s best if Spinelli stays in the dark.

At The Tan-O, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will be on the same page – at least at first.

Sonny will want to take the evidence they’ve uncovered to Lenny Caulfield (Rif Hutton) and Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy). He’ll want Elijah Crowe (Dan White) out of the Caulfields’ lives, so Nina will agree that’s for the best.

Nina will wish they could take their proof to the cops, but it wouldn’t be admissible considering how they obtained it. When Elijah calls and requests another date, Nina will hesitate before deciding it’s the right move.

Nina will make that second date despite Sonny’s protests and will make it clear that it’s about digging for more dirt.

Sonny will think Nina’s put herself at risk more than enough, but Nina will insist on seeing what else she can find out.

She’ll also want to make sure Elijah isn’t onto her, but Elijah indeed suspects Nina’s in cahoots with “Mike” and will be working to figure out the extent of her knowledge.

General Hospital spoilers say the danger’s going to escalate for Nina in the week ahead, so stay tuned to ABC’s GH! CDL will have other exciting General Hospital spoilers, updates and news to read up on, so stop by often.
