General Hospital Spoilers Update: Thursday, April 22 – Maxie Confesses to Nathan – Nina's Jax Panic - Carly & Jordan's Plan

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, April 22, teases that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will stop by the cemetery to seek some advice. Maxie has talked about needing to open up to Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) and feel his presence sometimes.

When Maxie runs into a problem, she often confides in Nathan at his grave and lets him talk to her heart.

Maxie’s latest jam involves obsessed Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and the child she’s about to bring into the world. Although Maxie has come up with a plan to fake her baby’s death, it’s certainly a risky one.

General Hospital spoilers say Maxie will battle some concerns, so she may hope she can “feel” Nathan tell her it’s the right call.

Of course, there’s always the potential for secret spillage when GH characters make confessions – even when they think they’re alone. Will someone eavesdrop on Maxie? Time will tell, but we know Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will become a keeper of Maxie’s secret at some point.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) will plead his case in Nixon Falls. Jax will hope that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is still there – and he’ll hope Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy is willing to point him in Nina’s direction.

Phyllis might be hesitant since Nina’s been trying to heal and pushed Jax away. However, Jax made the trip to Pennsylvania, so Lenny Caulfield (Rif Hutton) may think they need to point him in Nina’s direction and give him a chance.

Nina’s been off dancing with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and will share another bonding moment with him, but she should catch a glimpse of Jax soon.

General Hospital spoilers say Nina will do her best to calm her panic. She’ll realize she needs to keep a cool head if she’s going to stop Jax from finding out her Sonny survival secret.

Sonny has been riling up Elijah Crowe (Dan White), so it looks like Elijah will fight back in a deadly way. General Hospital spoilers say someone’s about to take aim and fire!

Sonny could become Elijah’s deadly target, so we’ll see if Elijah’s the one holding the weapon or if he lets a hitman do his dirty work.

Regardless, Jax will become the victim of bad timing soon enough. He’ll land in the wrong spot at the worst possible moment, so that’ll lead to a bullet hitting his arm.

Jax will apparently get shot with the bullet Elijah intended for Sonny, so look for all this shooting drama to play out within the next episode or two.

Jax is also set to see Sonny for himself, which should bring quite a shock before his looming hospital stint. Back in Port Charles, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will pop in Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) room at GH.

There’ll be some joking around between these former partners, so that should lift Chase’s spirits.

Chase may give Dante another nudge toward coming back on the force so they can team up again once he’s better. Unfortunately, there’s no timetable on when Chase will recover since Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) hasn’t even nailed down the cause of his symptoms yet.

Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will thankfully shed some light on that for Finn when she comes clean about Peter August (Wes Ramsey) poisoning Chase. Since Chase got the dose meant for Finn, that could make the doc feel guilty on some level.

Even so, Finn will mostly be angry with Peter as well as Anna for leaving him in the dark for so long. General Hospital spoilers say Finn will have a major meltdown before he tries to nail down what poison this is and figure out a treatment plan.

There’s a chance Finn may be able to figure out a solution that doesn’t involve Peter’s antidote.

Whatever the case, it’s important for Finn to have all the facts. Once Finn’s got them, he’ll have a better understanding of what Chase is up against. Over with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), he’ll assure Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) that he’s willing to wait for her.

It’d be cruel to confess their mutual feelings and leave Chase heartbroken when he’s already in crisis mode.

Willow will feel like she’s asking a lot of Michael, but he may point out she’s not asking at all. This is a secret Michael will want to keep along with Willow. Michael cares about Chase as well, so they’ll resolve to stay tight-lipped and hope he improves enough to hear their reunion news soon.

Meanwhile, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will deal with more Olivia drama and give herself another break by visiting Chase. There’ll be some cute moments as Brook Lynn warns Chase not to get used to the attention. Brook Lynn will tease Chase like only she can and put a smile on his face.

As for Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), she’ll put some serious pressure on Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry). Jordan will make Carly a promise, but Carly will expect more than just Jordan’s word if they’re going to move forward.

It looks like Jordan may have had a hand in making sure Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) share a cell.

At Pentonville, Jason will continue to ponder who arranged this roomie situation. Shawn and Jason will put their heads together in hopes of cracking the case. Jason may also ask what Shawn knows about Carly’s intentions, but it doesn’t look like Shawn has all the facts at this point.

Carly wants to move quickly on her latest scheme, so Shawn and Jason had better get ready for more drama! As other GH updates emerge, we’ll keep you posted.
