General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, August 5, teases that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will fail to protect Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) from danger while Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) has a new job for Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) to tackle. Let’s discuss what fans can expect in Thursday’s thrilling episode.
For starters, Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) will need to get on Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) good side or neither one of them’s going to be chief of staff.
Britt won’t be impressed by Terry’s apology and certainly won’t be interested in sharing the position, but she’ll just have to get used to the idea!
While Terry tries to get Britt to call a truce, Sasha will tout the perks of Brook Lynn’s role at Deception.
There’ll be one benefit in particular Sasha wants to discuss, but Brook Lynn may think it’s a disadvantage instead.
Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) is probably going to need a babysitter as she starts work at Deception, so the task may fall on Brook Lynn.
Perhaps Sasha will push Brook Lynn to keep an eye on Gladys – just so this arrangement doesn’t turn into a disaster.
In the meantime, Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will hit the boxing gym and get in a solid workout.
Brando will cross paths with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) there, so this will give Jason a chance to quiz him about doing an about-face on working for the Corinthos organization.
Brando has to concentrate on his family’s protection now that he’s moving forward with Sasha. They have a baby on the way – and Brando couldn’t be happier about that.
Jason will understand since he thought it was best for Brando to focus on the fam anyway, so Brando will be glad they’re all on the same page.
At Kelly’s, Cameron Webber (William Lipton) will leap into action as he helps deal with Stella Henry’s (Vernee Watson) health crisis.
Stella just keeled over, so Cam will make sure the paramedics get to the restaurant ASAP.
Once Stella’s wheeled in GH, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will fret over the possibility that he might’ve caused this emergency.
Curtis didn’t really blow up at Stella despite the mess she made with Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla), so he has nothing to worry about.
Stella was already in a tizzy – and Curtis expressed concern about her blood pressure spiking before he left.
That’s why Curtis urged Stella to sit there and eat her soup, but it seems the stress of everything that happened was still too much for Stella to handle.
TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) has been trained to stay calm when calamity strikes, but he’ll find that difficult once a beloved family member like Stella’s in distress.
It’ll be hard for TJ to balance his medical expertise with the emotional reaction of having a loved one in danger.
Over with Josslyn, she’ll run into a different sort of trouble – apparently some that’s linked to the mob! Joss will tell someone that Jason will be looking for him or her, so we’ll see exactly who she’s talking to and why.
Regardless, the Novak family could make a threatening move that puts Joss at risk – leading Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) to throw a fit.
Jax will chew Carly out once Josslyn’s safety is in jeopardy, so a confrontation’s brewing between these exes.
Although they’ll agree protecting Josslyn is the priority, Jax won’t think Carly’s doing a very good job of it these days.
As for Cameron Webber (William Lipton), he may hear about Josslyn’s dangerous ordeal or even make a heroic move to defend her.
Either way, Cameron will end up at the boxing ring looking for tips, so Jason will be glad to offer them.
Curtis will also thank Cameron for coming through for Stella, so it sounds like it’ll be a big day for Cam!
