General Hospital Spoilers Update: Tuesday, February 2 – Maxie Takes Pity on Liz – Trouble for Carly – Alexis & Martin Face Off

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, February 2, teases that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will have questions after awakening at GH.

Dante will struggle to make sense of how he ended up there, but he’ll eventually learn the story of how he struggled with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and took the syringe meant for Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth).

Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will feel indebted to Dante since he tried to stop Alexis’ horrible mistake. Alexis still made a big one when she jabbed Dante, but things could’ve been far worse if she’d jabbed Franco as planned.

Franco’s dealing with a brain tumor, so who knows if he’d have survived a seizure like Dante did?

Dante may have saved Alexis from a life sentence for Franco’s murder, but he’ll probably want to do more to get her out of trouble. After all, Alexis is still facing charges over what she did to Dante instead.

However, Sam will drop a hint about something not being so simple. Who knows what else Alexis might do if she doesn’t sober up? Sam may be adamant that Alexis needs to face whatever punishment comes down and finally get her life back on track.

Mac Scorpio (John J. York) seemed pretty determined to make sure Alexis understood the gravity of her actions. On Tuesday’s GH episode, Jordan Ashford (Tiffany Williams) will pass along some wise words of warning.

Alexis will also meet with Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight), but she won’t really buy the advice he tries to sell her.

Martin and Alexis will clash over legal strategies, but Alexis really needs to stop talking and start listening! She could be doing serious jail time if she doesn’t stop her troubling behavior and do whatever she has to do for a better future.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will run into Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and get some surprising updates. There’ll be some paperwork that Cyrus offers up – and it looks like it’ll relate to his missing mom, Florence Grey (Annie Abbott).

Perhaps Cyrus will provide proof of just how serious Florence’s condition is and try to convince Laura that more has to be done to find her.

Regardless, General Hospital spoilers say Laura and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will have a showdown once Wednesday, February 3, rolls around. It sounds like Cyrus’ evidence on Tuesday, February 2, will leave Laura fed up with Carly and hoping for changes.

Next, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will fear that time’s running out. Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is hot on Liesl’s trail – and Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) doesn’t have any guarantees about the length of his future.

It’s crucial for Franco to dig deeper in his brain and learn what’s buried in Drew Cain’s (Billy Miller) memories.

Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) might be Franco’s best shot at retrieving those memories. After Franco reaches that conclusion on Tuesday, he’ll pay Kevin a visit and ask for assistance.

Hypnosis might be a helpful strategy to find out what Drew remembers about Peter August (Wes Ramsey), so maybe Kevin will agree to give it a try.

Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will still be fuming over Peter’s outrageous story and how it was handled. Liz will rethink her notion of Peter being a hero and deal with questions about his dark side.

Peter’s latest move will leave Elizabeth determined to expose the real Peter August – and he’s clearly not one of the good guys!

When Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) makes a statement that seems to defend Franco, Peter won’t get her way of thinking. Maxie will have to explain that it’s really Elizabeth and her sons that she’s concerned about. She’ll feel bad for Liz since she’ll relate to her in some ways.

Maxie always has to defend Peter due to his history and many mistakes. She can understand that Liz is in a similar boat due to always having to defend Franco. Peter may argue that it’s not exactly the same thing and point out that he had a job to do.

The people of Port Charles deserved to know about Franco’s potentially dangerous tumor returning – at least that’s how Peter will see it.

As for Anna, she’ll corner somebody for an admission on Tuesday. Anna will hope this person has something to come clean about, so she may be counting on a full confession from Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).

Now that Anna’s put most of the Obrecht puzzle pieces with Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) help, she may push Britt to reveal the whole picture. Anna will be eager to confirm the news about Liesl’s freedom and hopefully speak with Obrecht herself soon.
