General Hospital Spoilers Update: Wednesday, April 28 – Cyrus’ New Reign of Terror – Maxie & Brook Lynn’s Deal for Baby Lou

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, April 28, teases that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will face more resistance from Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Carly’s been making some moves Jason disapproves of, but Carly will push Jason to just trust her and let her handle things her way.

As part of Carly’s plan, she’ll want Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) to serve as their main source of help at GH. Despite Jason’s objections and Carly’s uncertainty about Britt’s trustworthiness, the escape plot will move forward.

The goal will remain making sure Jason stays out of prison and away from the dangerous threat Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) hired inmates pose.

Unfortunately, Britt will realize there’s a snag and will report back with updates. This could tie in with Britt raising red flags for Cyrus and getting her access cut off from the computer system. That could somehow create a hurdle to sneaking Jason out of General Hospital when the time comes.

Whatever the case, Carly will realize this issue will have to be dealt with before the plot can press on. Brick (Stephen A. Smith) will pitch in with some security-related needs for Carly later this week, so she may call him to help tackle this new problem.

In the meantime, Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will still be brimming with confidence. He’ll gloat about Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) failure, but Peter’s celebration may be a bit premature!

General Hospital spoilers say Valentin will gain the upper hand through an overheard discussion on Wednesday, so Peter might have a phone conversation that Valentin listens in on.

While Valentin learns some valuable info, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will make a pitch to Cyrus. Since Cyrus has been reunited with Florence Grey (Annie Abbott), Laura will feel like this is Cyrus’ opportunity to end all the threats and bloodshed.

However, Cyrus won’t seem keen on taking advice from Laura. He’ll apparently reject the idea and leave in a huff, so Laura will remain concerned about Cyrus’ new reign of terror.

In Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) room at GH, he’ll awaken and express confusion over what he hears. It looks like Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will say something that surprises Chase by his bedside.

Willow may not know Chase is awake, so she could easily allude to the secret she’s keeping with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). The guilt will really take a toll on Willow since she doesn’t intend on having a future with Chase like he believes.

Chase even thought Willow was his wife before he took a turn for the worse, so that could be a topic of conversation on Wednesday. There could easily be a follow-up discussion about how Chase would indeed like to marry Willow at some point.

It’s clear that Chase is falling more madly in love with Willow by the second, so Willow will know it’s going to be devastating after he recovers and finds out the truth.

This will leave Willow with reservations about keeping this huge secret, but Michael will stop by General Hospital again to offer support.

Michael will frame it in a way that gives Willow a new perspective. Willow will be reminded that Chase’s recovery is what matters most, so Michael and Willow’s pact of silence will stick.

They won’t want to fill Chase in on their plan to be together until he’s truly out of the woods and back to his old self.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will find himself on the hotseat. Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will want Finn to divulge what was in the vial he used to treat Chase.

If Liz puts enough pressure on Finn, he just might bring her in the loop on Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) threat – whether it’s now or later.

In the meantime, Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) will push to find out if Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is ever returning to Port Charles. Nina may find it difficult to say with certainty at this point, so she’ll deal with Jax as best as she can and hope she can get him out of Nixon Falls as soon as possible.

At Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) apartment, she’ll flip out when Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) takes off that pregnancy pad and reveals she’s not carrying a baby after all.

Maxie will demand answers, so Brook Lynn will explain how she came up with this idea to get her ELQ shares back.

Now Brook Lynn has a chance to do just that, but the catch is Valentin won’t sign anything until after the baby’s born. Brook Lynn will insist she can protect Baby Lou and even allow Maxie to spend time with her after the fake stillbirth.

This will be the ideal way to trick Peter in Brook Lynn’s mind, but Maxie will have to decide if she a) trusts Brook Lynn to take care of her baby and b) can live with having Lou that close to her wicked father.

Maxie and Brook Lynn will indeed team up, so a deal is on the way soon. CDL will have other exciting General Hospital spoilers, updates and news posts to read up on, so pop back in soon.
