General Hospital Spoilers Update: Wednesday, January 13 – Sam’s New Alliance – Alexis Bombshell Visitor – Corinthos Family Favor

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, January 13, teases that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will be on the road to recovery following his hospitalization – at least physically.

Alas, Sonny will still have some memory issues to work through. Since Sonny can’t recall his life or the people he loves, he’ll ask a nurse if anyone’s been searching for him.

Sonny will hope that maybe that’ll offer a lead, but it’s not going to pan out. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) believes Sonny’s deceased along with the rest of the Corinthos clan back in Port Charles.

There won’t be anybody scouring this hospital looking for Sonny – and he doesn’t know his own name anyway. That’ll make Sonny’s journey back to Port Charles even tougher.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Brick (Stephen A. Smith) will be back in action. He’ll hate to hear about Sonny’s demise, but he’ll gladly step up to do Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sonny’s family a favor.

Brick’s a pro at handling any surveillance needs, so he may be able to track something down or trace something for Jason.

Regardless, Jason will take Brick with him for backup as they head to a storage locker. A bombshell’s apparently waiting once that storage locker’s opened, so it should be exciting to see what Brick and Jason find. They’ll have their guns aimed and ready to fire just in case things get wild!

Next, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will face some surprising news courtesy of Laura Collins (Genie Francis). Laura will offer updates on the shocking developments at Florence Grey’s (Annie Abbott) long-term care facility.

GH fans will recall that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) showed up while Laura was chatting with her new half-brother, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight).

That led to Cyrus’ revelation that he’s Laura’s half-brother, too. Unfortunately, Cyrus’ mom is at the center of a mob crisis thanks to her recent kidnapping.

Curtis will hear about all that and agree that this is risky business! Cyrus loves his mother dearly and could behave in unpredictable ways if this ordeal pushes him too far.

In the meantime, Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will be taken aback by how quickly word travels in this town. Some Brando-related gossip will move fast, so this might be about his Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) hookup.

TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) decked Brando for that recently, so Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) or someone else might overhear and check on Brando. GH viewers will also see Sasha listen closely at the Metro Court.

Sasha will be a table close by as Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) decides she’s had enough of Cyrus’ taunting.

Sam may point out that she walked away from Jason and wants nothing to do with Cyrus either. Naturally, Sam will have to be careful not to rile Cyrus up even further. Cyrus could go after Sam and her kids whether she’s a couple with Jason or not, so there’s still plenty of danger here.

Once Sam finishes telling Cyrus off, Sasha will approach this baddie and do the same. She’ll argue that she knows it was Cyrus, so we’ll see exactly what Sasha’s referring to and accusing him of.

Sasha might lash out over Cyrus being the one who wanted her to die after her overdose. There’s no doubt that Sasha would’ve been less problematic that way.

Sasha may also praise Brando for stepping up to save her, but that could mean rocking the boat for him. Brando’s trying to keep up the charade of working for Cyrus, but the pressure’s rising with Sonny gone and this Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab) threat hanging over the family.

As for Sam and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), they’ll chat about Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).

Olivia may agree that Alexis certainly needs help, but she’ll also battle doubt about Alexis’ responsibility – presumably in the accident that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) staged. Sam and Olivia will form an interesting alliance as they plan to investigate.

At home, Alexis will seem tired and drunk as usual when a visitor appears. This could be someone in Alexis’ head or a concerned PC resident in the flesh. Either way, Alexis will feel like this visitor is lying to someone.

Will Alexis hurl allegations at Tracy for lying over the crash? Could it be Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) who gets reminded of his deception? Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) might be another good option since he’ll offer Alexis some assistance eventually.

It’s even possible someone like Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan) will appear as a ghostly visitor.

Whatever the case, Alexis will be a total train wreck as she continues her downward spiral. This visit will give Alexis another painful wakeup call about just how far she’s fallen.

General Hospital spoilers say Alexis still has further to fall, but she’ll find a way to rise above her problems in time. CDL will have all the fantastic General Hospital spoilers, updates and news you’re looking for, so pop back in soon.
