General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for the week of August 2-6 teases that Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) and Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) will have a link through a new storyline. Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will also have a walking surprise for Willow Chase (Katelyn MacMullen) – and Ava Jerome (Maura West) will have an offer for Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) to mull over.
For starters, Harmony will get herself thrown out of the Quartermaine mansion for upsetting Willow. Chase will decide enough is enough and get rid of Harmony, but he’ll be keeping a big secret from his wife.
GH fans know Chase is slowly relearning how to walk – and he’s actually made some good progress.
Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) saw that progress for himself and will ultimately convince Chase to show Willow exactly what he can do.
This will set the stage for a romantic grand gesture – at least in Chase’s mind.
Chase will think this is going to be an epic moment, but he’ll be on a collision course with Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) efforts to console Willow at the Quartermaine gatehouse.
Austin will guide Chase up to the house on his feet, but will he see more than he should going on between Willow and Michael?
Regardless, Chase’s plan will come with a curveball – and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will face one of her own at Spring Ridge.
That’s apparently where Harmony’s next stop will be since she’ll encounter Alexis.
Harmony will raise Alexis’ suspicions, so it looks like Alexis will grill Harmony about what her game is – and that game should tie in with Ryan, who’s secretly not as locked in as he pretends to be.
There’s some sort of a link here since Harmony, Alexis and Ryan will all be connected through this new storyline.
Ava will also corner Shawn to offer him a new job, but he’s already agreed to help out Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) at The Savoy.
Shawn might accept Ava’s offer instead if it’s a better one, but it’d be more in line with his personality if he stayed true to his word.
Naturally, Shawn might be able to squeeze in both gigs, but it’ll be tough to juggle everything since he still intends to prove who really shot Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig).
Back with Alexis, she’ll get a visit from Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) as well as Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco).
This could involve their concerns about Ryan along with the desire for a progress report for safety’s sake.
After Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) lands in harm’s way, Cameron Webber (William Lipton) will seek some tips and some time in the boxing ring.
It’ll be Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) who steps up and teaches Cameron what he needs to know.
Joss may be unsettled by what appears to be some mob drama, but Jasper “Jax” will freak out more than his daughter in peril.
Jax will make a beeline for Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) in the aftermath and give her a piece of his mind for letting Josslyn get caught up in that dangerous world.
At GH, a tough day on the job will leave TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) with concerns. TJ’s emotions will run the show – and that’ll leave him uncomfortable since he needs to stay level-headed as a medical professional.
Finally, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will share some words of wisdom that bring Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) comfort.
Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) already encouraged Dante to let go of Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan), but essentially getting Laura’s blessing might help.
Laura may assure Dante that Lulu wouldn’t want him putting his life on hold for something uncertain.
Dante has no way of knowing if Lulu will ever wake up, but it’s OK to pursue his own happiness.
This could give Dante the nudge he needs to fully open his heart to Sam, so stay tuned to see what goes down between them.
