General Hospital Spoilers Update: Week of July 19 – Jason’s Austin Investigation News – Trina’s Trap – Britt’s Pool Surprise

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for the week of July 19-23 teases that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) should have some Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) investigation news while Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) sets a Cassadine trap. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will also get a surprise when she heads to the Metro Court pool, so let’s talk about what’s coming up in the week ahead.

Jason offered to look into mysterious Austin for Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson), so it appears he’ll report back soon.

GH spoilers say Jason will visit Monica for a one-on-one chat, so he’ll probably have some Austin updates – even if there’s not much to tell.

Jason may not be able to find anything out of the ordinary when it comes to Austin, but that doesn’t mean Monica will trust him anytime soon.

Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will have an Austin-related freak-out before she leaves for Texas, but some time with her baby and reassurance from Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) should help.

Meanwhile, it looks like Trina and “Victor” aka Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) could be on a collision course – and the truth about Spencer’s identity should come out this time.

Spencer has a habit of running into Trina, and we know they’re both headed for the Metro Court pool soon enough.

Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will also hang out poolside, so they’re probably going to clarify who exactly “Victor” is.

General Hospital spoilers say Trina will fume over someone’s deception, so she may put Spencer on full blast for lying to her.

Afterward, Britt will stop by the pool and enjoy a reunion she didn’t expect. Spencer may bump into Britt and catch up with her, though he’ll probably still be down in the dumps over Trina.

It’s obvious Spencer’s crushing hard – and Trina’s crushing right back. We’ll see if Britt can offer some helpful advice on how Spencer can make amends.

Spencer will also have a close call with Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) when he mentions the cockroach in plexiglass.

Nikolas won’t understand how Spencer could know about that, but Spencer will try to explain it away and get his father focused on something else.

Nikolas will indeed have a new project to work on in the near future.

When Nikolas finds out Shawn Butler’s (Sean Blakemore) luck is turning around, he’ll fret over Shawn’s impending freedom and the possibility that his own connection to Hayden Barnes’ (Rebecca Budig) shooting might be exposed.

Back with Trina, she’ll have a Cassadine trap in mind. Trina hates to see Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) suffering, so she’ll do whatever she can to push Ava and Nikolas back together.

While Trina resorts to a sneaky strategy, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will score info from David Hopkins and ultimately realize Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) had a faceoff with Peter the day he vanished.

Finn’s set to spill his side of the story, but Peter may not be so dead after all if that freezer turns out to be empty! As other news emerges, we’ll pass along updates.

General Hospital spoilers say there are some Peter twists looming, so drop by often. CDL will have all the hottest GH spoilers, updates and news you’re looking for.
