General Hospital Spoilers: Wednesday, December 29 – Carly Rejects Sonny – Nina's Fate – Curtis’ Crushing Reality

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, December 29, tease that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will reject Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) excuses while Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) learns her fate. Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) crushing reality will also bring some fears for Stella Henry (Vernee Watson), so let’s talk about the hot drama ahead.

For starters, Sonny will convince Carly to at least hear his side of the story.

Sonny will assure Carly that what went down in Nixon Falls never would’ve happened if he’d remembered his old life. Naturally, Carly may wonder why Sonny doesn’t feel like the victim of a crime if that’s true.

Sonny will have to answer some tough questions about Nina and what he felt for her. He may admit it’s difficult for him to just erase those feelings now, so Carly will get riled over Sonny’s defense of Nina.

Sonny’s attempt to explain just won’t go well at all, especially not based on Wednesday’s GH promo.

“How can you stand there and say that to me?” Carly demands to know in the preview video. She’ll probably stomp off eventually and leave Sonny to deal with a mess of emotions.

As for Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), he’ll hope the judge doesn’t buy Scott Baldwin’s (Kin Shriner) tactics.

After Michael rips into Nina, he’ll share another moment alone with Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and hope justice is served – at least in Michael’s eyes.

However, it’s hard to believe any decent judge is going to send Nina to jail when Sonny doesn’t even think he’s a victim!

We also know Scott and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will be celebrating a major victory soon, so Nina’s case should be thrown out.

Over with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), she’ll cross paths with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) and could perhaps serve as a shoulder to cry on.

Spencer will need Josslyn’s attention more than Cameron Webber (William Lipton), so that may be why Joss is about to bail on New Year’s Eve plans with her boyfriend.

In the meantime, Stella will talk to Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) about Curtis’ desire for answers about Marshall Ashford’s (Robert Gossett) past.

Stella will worry that the reality will crush Curtis, so she may worry he’ll dig too deep or perhaps feel a major void if he pushes Marshall away now.

Next, Curtis will quiz Marshall about playing house in Port Charles and how long he intends to do that.

Of course, Marshall will assure Curtis that he genuinely wants to get to know his family and spend some time with them.

Marshall will also talk about his musical group plans, but Curtis won’t be impressed – not when there are so many unanswered questions that Marshall refuses to address.

Curtis won’t be willing to make amends until Marshall comes clean about everything he hasn’t spilled.

As for Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), she’ll face a rejection of her own.

Alexis wants to go back to college, but she’ll encounter a professor who insists Alexis is wasting their time by being there.

It sounds like Alexis’ path forward will come with a detour, so stay tuned to see how she handles it. We’ll fill you in as other GH news and updates emerge.

General Hospital spoilers say Alexis will get more help from those in her support system soon enough.
