General Hospital Spoilers: Wednesday, December 29 Recap – Michael Physically Attacks Scott - Carly Warns Sonny Don’t Come Home

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, December 29, reveals that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) warned Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) not to come home while Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) physically attacked Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner). Here’s how it all went down on Wednesday’s action-packed episode.

At PCU, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) wound up sitting with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) at a sociology of crime seminar.

Alexis was there to try out being a student and see if she might want to pursue a career that was law adjacent.

Spencer accidentally got stuck in the seminar while in the building to drop a class, so Joss convinced him to stay put. During Professor Khan’s lecture, Alexis kept correcting her on things and acting like she didn’t have all the facts.

Once class was dismissed, Professor Khan cornered Alexis alone and felt she had no business being there with her credentials. She thought Alexis should be teaching instead and suggested a position that might be good for her.

Alexis was very interested in becoming a professor, but her heart sank at the mention of a background check.

Outside the courthouse, Sonny urged Carly to listen to him as her husband.

Carly pushed Sonny to tell her he wasn’t still sleeping with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), but he clarified that he never did. Even so, Carly argued that Sonny fell in love with someone else and wondered where that left her.

Sonny defended his romance with Nina since he had amnesia, but Carly ranted about knowing something was wrong and blaming herself because of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Although Sonny insisted Nixon Falls are over and done, Carly didn’t buy that.

Carly thought maybe Sonny didn’t want to remember her and demanded to know if Nina made him happy.

However, Sonny argued that he had dreams about Carly and that the deepest part of himself remembered her.

They bickered about Sonny keeping the secret since Carly doubted he was ever really going to tell her the truth.

Carly noticed that Sonny kept dodging every time she brought up Nina’s name and wanted to know how he felt about her “right here, right now, today.”

Sonny struggled as he reflected on his whole experience in Nixon Falls and how Nina fit into it.

Sonny admitted things were all jumbled up since he looks at Nina and sees “Mike’s” confidant as well as the woman who hurt his wife and kids.

Carly reminded Sonny that Nina let her believe he was dead and couldn’t believe he still had feelings for her. She insisted on time apart and felt Nina still had a hold on Sonny.

Although Sonny refused to look Carly in the eye and tell her that Nina meant nothing, he thought they could work this out. Carly wasn’t interested and warned Sonny not to come home tonight before stomping off.

Inside the courthouse, Nina assured Willow that she wasn’t using her and truly didn’t want the secret to come out. She felt the only reason it did was because

Willow overheard her conversation with Sonny. Willow followed Nina back into the courtroom to berate her, but Nina fired back that Willow could’ve lied!

Willow wasn’t willing to face a penalty for perjury, but Nina didn’t think anyone was going to stand up and tell her she was wrong.

Nina got in Willow’s face and congratulated her on hurting the family she claimed to love.

Meanwhile, Scott suggested to Michael that “Dada” was having a good time in Nixon Falls and didn’t want to come home to his family.

After Michael threw a fierce punch at Scott’s face, Scott reminded him that was assault.

Michael didn’t care and ultimately got Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) to make any potential legal drama go away.

After the judge ruled that the commonwealth failed to meet the definition of fraud, he dismissed all charges and threw the case out.

Michael found out Sonny’s testimony being the deciding factor and wasn’t happy about it. He made it clear to Willow that Nina wasn’t going to get away with her crimes.

Back with Nina, she ranted to Scott about how this wasn’t what she wanted. Despite being in the clear legally, Nina was too worried about Sonny to even think about that.

At GH, Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) approached Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) in her office to talk about Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett).

Portia felt Curtis wanted to reconnect with Marshall more than he was letting on, but she didn’t want to push. Stella worried about Curtis facing a crushing reality and didn’t think giving him space was the right call.

As for Curtis, he entered Marshall’s hotel room and wondered how long his father was going to keep playing house in Port Charles.

Curtis argued that he was a “grown-ass man” who didn’t need support from Marshall anymore. He only needed answers and warned Marshall not to stay in Port Charles if he couldn’t give them.

After Curtis made his way to the hospital, he took comfort in seeing Portia and sharing a kiss with her. Curtis was eager to celebrate New Year’s Eve with Portia by his side.

Back with Stella, she checked in with Marshall about his earlier conversation with Curtis.

Marshall assured Stella that he would never tell Curtis that she knew he wasn’t dead. He felt like Stella was a hero to his sons and didn’t want to take that away, too.

General Hospital spoilers say Stella’s secret is sure to come out sooner or later – and so will all of Marshall’s!
