General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, July 21, tease that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will have a husband failure meltdown while Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) gets a Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) surprise.
First, Chase will tell Willow Chase (Katelyn MacMullen) that he can’t be her husband. He’ll start to lose hope of being the man he used to be since his progress will be so slow and difficult.
Chase will lash out at Willow and act like their marriage needs to end, but Willow will know he’s just frustrated. She’ll offer a pep talk and hope she can keep Chase focused on his recovery goals.
Of course, Chase’s meltdown will only make Willow more certain that her true desire to be with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) needs to stay under wraps!
At the Metro Court pool, Britt will grin from ear to ear over a familiar face she’s delighted to see.
It looks like a warm reunion between Britt and Spencer is on the way, so these two will have a chance to catch up.
Over with Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma), he’ll be nervous now that Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) is a free man.
Nikolas will pump Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) for info and seem agitated when she’s not spilling enough.
What Nikolas has to focus on now is making sure no one finds out he’s behind Hayden Barnes’ (Rebecca Budig) shooting, but keeping that a secret won’t be easy.
In the meantime, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will open up to Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) about her romantic issues.
hings are complicated, but Portia really does want more than friendship with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner).
Terry will think the only place to be is at The Savoy, where Portia can go after what she wants and get on the same page with Curtis. She may think Portia has to grab onto happiness with both hands.
Brando also has a chance at happiness, but he’s got complications of his own.
After Brando confides his mob and family dilemma, Curtis will share his perspective. He’ll think Brando has to be honest about what he wants – even if Brando might lose what he has.
Brando would like to take on more responsibilities within the Corinthos organization and be a real key player within the mob. However, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) has made it crystal clear that she’s not on board with that.
Sasha doesn’t want Brando bringing added danger to her baby’s life, so she’ll raise this child on her own if she has to.
Brando will assure Sasha that he wants a future with her as well as the baby later this week, so that offers a hint about his choice – though it may not be that simple as this storyline moves along.
For now, Sasha will share her troubles with Michael and get some advice. Michael may feel like Sasha’s going to do just fine as a mom no matter what.
Finally, Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) will run into a newly released Shawn and voice her displeasure.
“Get out of my way!” Stella insists in Wednesday’s GH preview video. She’ll unleash her wrath on Shawn, so he’ll have to navigate this confrontation as best as he can.
