General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, June 9, tease that Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will face another disturbing stalker message while Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) choice breaks Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) heart. As for Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), she’ll grill Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) about what happened to her baby.
At GH, Britt will be back in Port Charles and back at work since Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) isn’t running the show there anymore. Naturally, Britt will want to visit Maxie’s room ASAP and ask if she went ahead with her plan.
Maxie will look a bit uncertain about whether she should admit to moving forward with it or not.
After all, Maxie could always just tell Britt the plan fell through because of crazy “Chloe Jennings” (Kimberly J. Brown). Either way, Britt will be apologetic since she was on the run when Maxie needed her help.
Next, Ava will tell Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) that Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) has left them another note. Ava seems convinced the threats are coming from her serial killer former flame – though she’s not sure how Ryan’s pulling it off.
However, there’s obviously more to the story here based on General Hospital spoilers.
There’s a good chance it’s actually Spencer Cassadine (last played by Nicolas Bechtel) who’s messing with Ava and Nikolas since there are rumblings about a summer Spencer recast.
Whatever the case, Ava will soon be alarmed by another message, which will lead to Detective Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) being called to Wyndemere.
While Dante investigates, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will suggest she can help if Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) feels like breaking something.
Anna just might take Liesl up on that offer since she could use a chance to blow off some steam! All the Peter August (Wes Ramsey) drama has taken a toll on Anna, but Obrecht may be just the person to help her let loose and release some of her anger.
As for Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), she’ll get on the phone and insist Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) wants someone at the hospital right away.
Liz may urge Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) and Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) to get over there since Finn just made a major breakthrough in finding a cure.
In Chase’s room, Finn will assure him that this is real. Thanks to Liz’s “trojan horse” comment, Finn was able to figure out a way to help Chase get better. It’s just a matter of putting Finn’s knowledge into action and working to save Chase fast.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will remain agitated over how low Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) stooped.
Michael was blackmailed into calling Nina and giving her a chance to be in Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos’ (Erik and Theo Olson) life, so he’s obviously not happy about it.
“Nina has a choice because you took mine away from me,” Michael says angrily in Wednesday’s preview video.
Of course, Jax will feel like he simply did what he had to do. He may argue that bullying is what it takes for people like Michael and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) to understand!
As for Nina, she’ll decide she needs to head home and visit Wiley since Michael’s finally allowing it. That’ll leave Nina with a decision to make about “Mike” aka Sonny since they just admitted their feelings for each other.
Nina will wonder if this has to be goodbye, but Sonny may fear Nina will never come back if she heads back to Port Charles and resumes her old life.
It looks like Sonny will fight to make Nina stay, but she’ll insist on going home to bond with her grandson. This should indeed lead to Nina planting roots in PC again, but maybe Sonny will chase after Nina down the road!
GH spoilers say Nina and Sonny’s connection will lead to more complications once it’s exposed, so we’ll look forward to that inevitable bombshell.
