General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, March 24, teases that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will want to have a little celebration with Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez). When Valentin alludes to the reason for it, Charlotte will grow curious about her papa’s surprise.
Valentin may use this opportunity to admit he’s going to be a father again, which means Charlotte will be a big sister. Once Charlotte faces this baby bombshell, she might get the wrong idea and assume Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is the one having it.
However, Valentin will eventually have to clarify that it’s Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) he’ll be co-parenting with.
Charlotte might be excited about the idea of a little brother or sister, but it’s equally possible she’ll disapprove. Charlotte’s used to having Valentin’s undivided attention, so she may not want to share – especially since this isn’t Nina’s impending bundle of joy.
As for Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), she’ll dwell on her heartache now that her relationship with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) is over. Anna, Finn and Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) would be a united family anymore, so Anna will struggle over the change.
Of course, Anna will also regret not being able to see the truth about Peter sooner – and not being able to put him on a better path.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) will deliver updates to someone in lockup. It might be Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) who receives news regarding his case, but Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) is another option since he remains behind bars as well.
Regardless, Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) will finally face Taggert in Wednesday’s episode. Taggert will make a desperate plea for forgiveness, so Trina may agree to try.
Trina can’t just forget the pain Taggert caused with his faked death, but maybe they can move forward as a father who wants to make things right and a daughter who’s willing to let him try.
Next, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will talk to Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) about seeing the bigger picture now. Curtis should understand what Portia’s getting at – whether this involves the changes they’re both making in their lives or Trina’s situation with Taggert.
The most important thing here is that Curtis will keep inching in Portia’s direction romantically! This certainly isn’t doing anything to help Curtis’ marriage to Jordan. In fact, this separation could be on the verge of becoming a divorce soon enough.
At GH, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will find a fellow expectant mom to bond with. General Hospital spoilers say Maxie will be surprised by Brook Lynn’s bun in the oven, so she may ask questions about the father and learn it’s none other than Valentin Cassadine.
Brook Lynn will mention how she still needs to figure some things out, but she’ll mostly worry for Maxie after her failed wedding to Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Perhaps Maxie will admit her pain and allude to her plan to make sure her baby stays protected.
Brook Lynn will be a great source of support for Maxie on Wednesday along with Lucas Jones (Matt Trudeau). The three of them will come together for some heartfelt scenes, so GH fans will want to stay tuned.
In the meantime, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will be eager to tell Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) the big news of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) survival. However, Carly won’t let Nina get much of anything out.
Carly will cut Nina off and snap at her about not trying to pull anything when it comes to Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson).
Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) insisted that Nina could push for rights to Wiley and potentially take Carly’s grandson away from her. Ava was mostly just trying to provoke Carly, but Carly will undoubtedly have that conversation on her mind as she warns Nina.
Carly will make it clear that Nina needs to consider the consequences before she makes any drastic moves. Nina will determine that Carly’s right, so she’ll opt to sit on the secret that Sonny’s alive with memory loss in Pennsylvania.
Once Nina hangs up, it looks like she’ll reconvene with Sonny and learn he’s all about living in the moment.
Nina and “Mike” will form a connection as they chat, so we have to wonder if that connection might lead to a romance down the road – either a real one or one Nina uses to get back at Carly.
