General Hospital Spoilers: Wednesday, May 5 – Carly Calling the Shots, Threatens Cyrus – Jason Grateful to Britt - Dante Steps Up For Sam

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, May 5, tease that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will continue to improve following his blood transfusion. Thanks to Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) medical expertise and Carly’s blood donation, Jason survived and will be on the road to recovery.

Of course, Jason will want to thank Britt for saving his life and apologize for getting her caught up in such a mess. Britt may argue that she owed Jason for coming to her rescue with Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) goons.

She’ll assure Jason that she’s sticking with him – and it’s not like Britt has much of a choice since Cyrus will kill her if she comes out of hiding.

Britt and Jason are in this together now, so they’ll share some warm moments on Wednesday. As their conversation winds down, Britt will wonder if this is the part where Jason shuts up because thinks he’s said too much. She might tease Jason about getting a bit sappy, but Jason will be truly grateful for Britt’s help.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will fly into a rage as Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) asks more questions. “Are you interrogating me now?” an outraged Liz asks in Wednesday’s GH preview video.

Elizabeth will be frustrated over Cameron Webber’s (William Lipton) whole situation – and she’ll certainly be worried her son could land in prison over this.

In the interrogation room, Cameron will sense that his story isn’t sticking. “You think I did it?” Cam tries to get someone to confirm in Wednesday’s GH promo.

Unfortunately, Cameron really did shoot Jason – the security camera footage should back that up. Cam should be in for shock when he sees that footage since he genuinely doesn’t seem to remember pulling the trigger.

Jordan pointed out that people can be terrified and disoriented in chaotic situations like that, so that seems to be what went down here.

Over with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), he’ll help out a friend in need. Since Dante and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will make a pact later this week, maybe Dante will step up for Sam’s sake.

In the meantime, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will be looking for details – most likely about where Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) went and why. Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) will also be concerned about Carly suddenly going MIA.

“Why are you trying to find Carly?” a suspicious Jax asks in Wednesday’s GH preview clip. However, General Hospital fans know exactly where Carly is – and Jax wouldn’t be pleased if he knew the answer!

Carly decided to attend the five families meeting herself, so she came strutting in wearing that sassy white dress like she owned the place.

Carly may battle some fears deep down, but she certainly won’t let them show at this meeting. She’ll refuse to be intimidated by Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and will in fact threaten Cyrus instead.

“I’m calling the shots now – and you don’t want to make yourself a target,” Carly declares in Wednesday’s General Hospital preview video.

In Nixon Falls, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will be touched by just how much “Mike” aka Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) listens and supports her. She’ll feel like “Mike” is really paying attention to her – and he’ll confirm that’s what he’s doing.

There’ll be more flying sparks between Nina and Sonny, but Nina should pull back once the week of May 10-14 rolls around. Nina’s set to go on a date with Elijah Crowe (Dan White) down the road, so that should bring out the green-eyed monster for Sonny.

As other GH news rolls in, we’ll bring you updates. General Hospital spoilers say Nina will continue to wrestle with her growing feelings for Sonny, so don’t miss what’s next. CDL will have all the fantastic General Hospital spoilers, updates and news to check out, so stop by again soon.
