General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that viewers are in for an exciting week from January 11-15 on the ABC soap. As GH viewers know, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) has been popping up around Port Charles and antagonizing various people, and the week of January 11 will be no different.
The new GH promo shows Cyrus approaching Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) at the Metro Court and most likely griping about his mother’s kidnapping. Well, Sam is shown putting her hand out and telling Cyrus to “back up,” so it looks like she’s not going to have any of his nonsense.
Interestingly, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) is in the foreground pretending to read a magazine but intently listening to the goings-on between Sam and Cyrus, so she might learn about Cyrus’ recent difficulties with his mother’s kidnapping.
GH spoilers hint that Sasha isn’t finished with Cyrus, and that she’s going to continue to want revenge for how Cyrus played her and plied her with cocaine when she was going down the addiction road.
We’ll see exactly what Sasha overhears and what she does next where Cyrus is concerned.
Next, the new GH promo shows Laura Collins (Genie Francis) telling Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) to prepare for a shock, so it looks like she’s about to unload her story about being Cyrus’ half-sister onto Curtis.
Of course, Curtis has been out of the loop recently given all of his problems with Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry), so he’ll have a lot to catch up on with Laura.
At the hospital, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) will get his big opportunity to come face-to-face with Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) for the first time after learning about Brando’s one-night stand with Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos).
Even though TJ is aware that Molly and Brando’s night together happened before Brando even knew TJ, there’s still the issue of Brando keeping the affair quiet later.
TJ’s going to be peeved about that, and he’ll express himself by decking Brando big time right there in the hospital. Something tells us that TJ and Brando will get past this eventually, but TJ will apparently feel like he’s got a score to settle first.
Next, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will have words with Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma), whom she’ll accuse of getting all high and mighty with her.
Nikolas may have something to say about Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) disappearance and presumed death – we’ll see what unfolds here, but it looks like Carly’s going to set Nikolas straight.
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will be busy during the week of January 11 as well, as he seeks out help from Brick (Stephen A. Smith). Jason will be in the weird position of running Sonny’s empire after the authorities presume Sonny to be dead.
However, it doesn’t look like Jason’s going to give up on Sonny just yet, and he’ll enlist Brick to help figure things out.
At any rate, the promo shows Jason and Brick approaching a storage unit somewhere and opening up the unit with guns drawn, so they’ll be working on a lead as they continue to search for Sonny.
Next, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) will be in rare form as she works tooth and nail to protect Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) marriage to Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero).
Right now, the threat that Tracy is worried about is Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), who’s a loose cannon due to her drinking issues.
Tracy doesn’t want Alexis to drunkenly spill the beans about her affair with Ned to Olivia, since Tracy wants to make sure that Ned and Olivia’s marriage is sustained. “I will stop anyone who gets in the family’s way,” Tracy says in the promo, indicating that she might go up against Alexis once again.
Finally, the promo shows Olivia getting some big news and exclaiming, “Oh, my God.” Might Olivia find out about how Tracy set up Alexis to lose her driver’s license? Or will Olivia actually hear the truth about Ned’s affair with Alexis?
