General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of July 12-16 tease that Austin (Roger Howarth) Quartermaine revelation will take center stage while Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) fight over Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher). Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will also interrogate Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), so here’s what fans can expect.
For starters, Sam will fret over how Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is holding up after her stint in solitary confinement.
We’ll also see Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) come together with TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) and Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) for a crucial discussion as a family.
As for Austin, he’ll surprise Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) by quizzing her about the Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) wing of GH.
Look for Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) to make a stunning announcement, so that’ll probably tie in with Austin’s upcoming move.
Austin is all set to crash the ELQ meeting and reveal his true identity, so chaos will erupt among the Quartermaine clan.
It looks like Austin is the son of illegitimate Quartermaine Jimmy Lee Holt (Steve Bond), so his news is sure to throw everyone for a loop – especially once Scott exposes Austin’s plan.
Britt and Liesl will also need to have another heart-to-heart. Liesl may find out Britt is now sleeping with Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher), which may not go over well considering Liesl used to have a huge crush on him!
However, Liesl is happy with Scott now and wants Britt to be happy, too. Although Liesl would’ve preferred for things to work out between Britt and Jason, she’ll accept that maybe it wasn’t meant to be.
There’ll be an understanding reached between Obrecht and Britt, so it’s good to know the improvements they’ve made in their relationship lately will stick.
As for Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), she’ll have a tough time figuring out how Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) fits in her life now. Finn is always going to be important to Anna, even if they’re not a couple any longer.
Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is important to Anna as well – and she may come to realize she’s been in denial about what’s going on between them.
Next, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will find out “Bailey Quartermaine” is actually Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom), so that’ll leave Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) in freak-out mode after Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) comes clean.
However, Nina will be willing to keep the truth under wraps for the sake of keeping Louise safe.
Brook Lynn will be relieved over Nina’s unexpected stance while Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) gets divorce comfort from Laura Collins (Genie Francis).
Nikolas will also get a nice surprise that bolsters his spirits, so that probably means Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will reveal himself to his father.
Naturally, Spencer won’t mention that he’s behind all the stalker mayhem.
While Spencer surprises Nikolas, Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will figure out something significant. He’ll nail down why Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) is putting walls up and hope he can tear them down.
Back with Sam, she’ll call Jason’s motives into question – no doubt regarding his marriage to Carly.
Meanwhile, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will await some big news. Sonny will also wait for Lenny Caulfield (Rif Hutton) to come home, so there may be some medical updates coming up.
If Lenny’s doing better, Sonny might be willing to take the Port Charles trip that Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) has been pushing for.
Phyllis will dish out a warning to protect Nina’s heart, so we’ll see if she shares some words of wisdom that’ll help Sonny along the way.
