General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for the week of February 8-12 teases that the action will continue to heat up as buried secrets come to light. GH recently released a hot new preview video, which offers a glimpse of some of the shockers to come.
First, let’s talk about a bomb that’s about to drop on Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson). Monica is stunned – and not in a good way – when she opens the Quartermaine mansion door in the latest promo. The question is: Who will this surprise visitor be?
It’d be great if a pregnant Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) was the source of Monica’s shock, but there’s been no news about Setton returning from her maternity leave yet.
Instead, it might be Lesley Quartermaine (Denise Alexander) who’s on the other side of the door since Monica and Lesley had quite a feud in the past.
General Hospital’s preview video also features some scenes that recently aired – like the ones where Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) grilled Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and a shot of those mysterious hands dealing with Alex Devane-Marrick’s (Finola Hughes) last will and testament.
There’s also a snippet of Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) latest cemetery confrontation.
Although Valentin felt like Anna and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) would be forced to learn the truth about Peter, he agreed to try and minimize the damage. Valentin’s making himself an accomplice, but he realizes Peter’s secrets could be hard to contain.
Now that Valentin knows too much, could he become a target of Peter’s as well? Peter has made it crystal clear that he won’t let anyone stand in the way of his future with Maxie, James West (Curtis and Owen Rufca) and their baby.
Since Peter’s proven he can go to some incredibly dark places, Valentin would be wise to watch his back!
Other General Hospital spoilers say Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will blow up the Corinthos family’s attempt to lay Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to rest. Sonny’s funeral will be capped off with some drama since Nina will show up to make serious accusations.
Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) both look uneasy in the new preview promo.
Furious Nina will put together enough to hold Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) responsible for Nelle Benson’s (Chloe Lanier) death.
It appears a showdown will go down in the cemetery just before the burial portion of Sonny’s service.
“I know what you did to my daughter!” Nina declares in GH’s weekly preview clip. Nina will inevitably blame Carly for hurling Nelle off the cliff – and she’ll think Jax is almost as culpable for covering it up.
Carly and Jax will assure Nina that’s not how it went down, but livid Nina won’t listen. She’s only going to want justice for Nelle!
