In tonight’s Grey’s Anatomy episode, Jackson was quitting. He was going to leave the hospital. He was giving up his prestigious practice at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital to take over the Catherin Fox Foundation and he was going to be moving to Boston with April and their daughter. Jackson now just has to tell his friends he was leaving. He was leaving and Carina was staying.

She was having issues with her visa because the coronavirus forced her country to close its borders and so Carina was still going to visit Italy but she was coming back after a month there and she was getting married as well. She was marrying her girlfriend. She was also staying at the hospital. Carina is an OBGYN. She begged for her job back and Bailey happily gave it to her. Bailey needed as many as she can. Carina was staying and she was now Jo’s boss.

Jo changed specialties. She now wants to be an OBGYN and not a surgeon. Jo fell in love with the new specialty during the pandemic and she said she would rather be delivering babies than trying to fight the coronavirus. Jo received blessings from Meredith. Meredith awoke from the covid-induced coma and she was happy for Jo. She was also happy for Maggie who was getting married.

The only thing the doctors weren’t telling Meredith was about DeLuca. DeLuca died while she was in her coma. He had been stabbed by a child trafficker and still he managed to put an end to the trafficking but now he’s dead and Meredith doesn’t know. Everyone was too afraid to tell her. They wanted her to think only good things and so they didn’t let Meredith see their tears. Amelia broke out into tears when she found out how well Meredith was doing.

Meredith will soon come home. She’ll come home to find her house a mess and that everything there is chaotic. Amelia bursts into tears now ever since she had her baby. She was especially sensitive and the kids were running wild. The house was a mess because the kids couldn’t stop it from turning into a mess whenever they were there. It also didn’t help that Link returned to work.

He was back to feeling normal now that he’s working again and Amelia didn’t have that because she was still on maternity leave. It turns out Link thought Meredith would soon take over back at the house. He thought that Meredith would come back and that he and Amelia could finally leave. He thinks they’ll go someplace that’s just theirs and that would be it. And so he missed the smirks from the other guys because everyone knows they won’t be moving out as fast as Link thought.

Jackson was also walking around saying his goodbyes. He came to the hospital and he took say for heartfelt goodbyes. He said goodbye to Baily and Richard at the same time. He said goodbye to Jo when it was just the two of them. You know in honor of their situations. They did sleep together for a while before they decided to stay as friends and so their goodbye had them both laughing. Jackson later said goodbye to Meredith.

He and she were the last of their class standing. Once he leaves, it’ll just be Meredith. Meredith was the last woman standing. Everyone else had either left for better offers or died and so Meredith really was the last one. Meredith was on her own this time. She has friends and family at the hospital but it wasn’t going to be the same without Jackson because Jackson knew her before she became thee, Meredith Grey.

Meredith Grey was the heart of the hospital. When she got better, Teddy finally started to relax. She was so relaxed that she smiled and she hugged Owen and that turned into something more. They slept together. Owen is now a great mood and so he and Winston revealed to Link that he wasn’t going to be moving out of that house. That house has a draw to it. Its called the sister house and once you’re living there you never want to leave.

Link thinks he wants to leave. He also thinks Amelia wants to leave as well and no. She’s good. She wants to be at the house and things are different with Meredith coming home. The hospital tried to arrange a big farewell for Meredith. Which she found about and decided not to do it. She instead snuck out with Jackson’s help and he brought her home.

Meredith was at home when Maggie asked Richard to officiate her wedding. Maggie was adopted and so her adopted father was going to walk her down the aisle but her father suggested Richard officiate the wedding and Richard was just so glad to be a part of the wedding that he couldn’t wait to officiate. Richard was Maggie’s biological father. He’s glad that they have a relationship and that he gets to be a part of the wedding.

Richard was just so happy. Not even Jackson leaving could take that away and it wasn’t just Jackson that was leaving. Koracick was leaving as well. He was going with Jackson to help be a part of the change and so the hospital was losing two prestigious doctors. And doctors were changing specialties. And Hellmouth was moving in with Schmitt and Jo and she was hoping to regain her love of medicine.

The pandemic has a lot from so many of them that they were just glad to still be alive and with each other.

THE END!
