The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will battle anger and heartbreak after Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) admits to sleeping with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).
Finn thought things were great in his relationship with Steffy and was really starting to think about a forever future with her.
It’ll be tough for Finn to find out that Steffy very recently hooked up with her ex-husband. Once Steffy reveals that she’s pregnant, Finn will realize she doesn’t know for sure if he’s the father. Since Finn wanted to build a family with Steffy, The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say he’ll be even more hurt.
Finn’s initial reaction will be one of rage and sorrow, which is understandable considering all the bombshells he’ll have to process. However, Finn is a reasonable guy who’ll cool down sooner or later.
At that point, Finn may be more willing to see things from all angles. He’s not going to give Steffy a pass for her actions, but he may look deeper and decide he understands them a bit more.
It might take weeks or months for Finn to reach this level of understanding, but there’s hope for “Sinn” on B&B. In the end, Finn might determine that Steffy’s been the victim of Liam’s emotional abuse. Liam always finds a way to reel Steffy back in instead of just focusing on Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) – the woman he chose to be with.
Instead of accepting that boundaries are necessary, Liam initially tried to control who Steffy chose to date. After Liam thought Hope betrayed him, he was so quick to go for Steffy as a backup option.
Liam wanted to know just how serious Steffy and Finn were. Liam has never respected Finn’s role in Steffy’s life at all – nor does he really respect Steffy since he always pulls her back in like this.
Finn may ultimately realize that Steffy’s endured years of Liam’s waffling and that’s the kind of thing that can take a toll on a person. It’s not the kind of pattern that can be fixed overnight.
Finn might eventually feel like he has to show Steffy that someone can choose her and keep choosing her. He may figure out Steffy needs a man who won’t go running off to another woman at the first sign of trouble.
