The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) just offered a huge hint about her baby’s gender – and about the name this child may ultimately receive.
As John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) opened up to Steffy in the February 17 episode, he admitted he already had some baby names picked out. Finn talked about how he got caught up what it’d be like if he were a dad.
Steffy confessed that she’d been mulling over baby names, too – including one special one if the baby turned out to be a boy: John Finnegan, Jr. Of course, this is important since it’s obvious Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) tampered with the paternity test results to make sure Finn wasn’t a match.
It’s easy to see it was all part of Vinny’s plan to give Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) a chance with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle). That means sooner or later, the truth has to come out.
B&B writers are delivering drama right now by making everyone think Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is the “baby daddy,” but it’s Finn who should be this child’s father in the end.
Naturally, that also means Steffy can use the name she chose as planned! It seems likely the show will indeed give Steffy a baby boy that she can name John Finnegan, Jr.
There’d be some fun nickname options if that’s the case. Perhaps this little one could be called Johnny or even JJ to combine the John and Jr part.
Regardless, it felt like a clue about Steffy eventually giving birth to a son – Finn’s son! It’d be great for Steffy to give Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Collette Gray) a little brother.
If this pans out as expected, it’ll be a case of art imitating life. Jacqueline MacInnes Wood recently revealed she’s having another baby boy, so it’s fitting for Steffy to give birth to a boy as well.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say this storyline will bring more conflict, especially when it comes to Finn and Liam battling it out for control. Finn will think there are boundary issues that need to be addressed, but Liam will feel like Finn’s the one who’s trying to cross too far into Daddy territory.
Liam should be in for a shock once the twist’s finally revealed and Finn knows he’s the father – hopefully to adorable John Finnegan, Jr. We’ll bring you updates as other B&B news emerges.
