The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will have some challenges to tackle in the week ahead, but the payoff will be worth it.
Steffy will decide to leave town following a sudden breakup with Finn, but the paternity test results truth will change everything.
Once Finn learns about Vinny Walker’s (Joe LoCicero) tampering and tracks Steffy down, he’ll deliver a sincere plea for a bright “Sinn” future. Steffy and Finn will get their romance back on track thanks to the news that she’s indeed carrying Finn’s child.
It’ll bring some jubilant moments for Finn, Steffy and those closest to them, but a different kind of baby drama could be just around the corner.
After all, soaps rarely let pregnancies go off without a hitch. Steffy may not be lucky enough to avoid a scare related to this impending bundle of joy. Once Finn and Steffy no longer have the paternity lie to contend with, they’ll get a little period of bliss.
That could eventually be followed by some pain for Steffy and a baby crisis.
Steffy might fear she’s going to lose the baby and tear apart her “Sinn” family. Of course, everything should turn out fine in the end since B&B seems to want Steffy to have this kid.
The reasons for this baby crisis would merely be to pull Finn closer to Steffy, deliver some drama and perhaps set up an excuse that ties in with Jacqueline MacInnes Wood’s maternity leave.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Wood pre-filmed scenes so that her absence from the show won’t be too obvious. There’s no word on exactly how B&B pulled that off in terms of the story, but it’s possible Steffy will wind up on bed rest as a precaution.
It’d be sweet to see Finn dote on Steffy a bit and reassure her that their baby’s going to be all right.
That’d be a simple strategy to keep Steffy in one spot for a while and prevent her from having to be right in the middle of big stories elsewhere. It also would’ve been easy to shoot several scenes in bed to stock up for while Wood’s gone.
Regardless, a “Sinn” baby crisis seems inevitable at some point. You almost never see a woman have a problem-free pregnancy on a soap, so Steffy’s turn for issues should be coming. We’ll fill you in as other B&B news and updates emerge.
