The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, April 2, reveals that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) was folding laundry when Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) wondered what she could do to help.
Hope asked Brooke to check on Beth Spencer (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez) and pointed out that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) was out with Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri).
Brooke thought it must be overwhelming for Hope to be juggling everything alone, but Hope argued that she was still parenting with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).
Hope added that Liam just wasn’t living there right now, so Brooke picked up on the “right now” part and was hopeful they might work things out.
After Hope smelled one of the flowers Liam had sent, she acknowledged that he’d been making all kinds of gestures.
Even so, Hope couldn’t forget how Liam ran to Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), slept with her and declared his love that night. Brooke argued that betrayal was hard, but she felt Hope was making it harder by not letting go.
At Spencer Publications, Liam checked to make sure dinner had been delivered to the cabin. Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) commented on how Liam had been getting all Hope’s favorite things lately.
Liam just wanted to show Hope that she’s his one true love and always will be.
After Liam talked about Brooke’s earlier visit, Bill insisted Liam couldn’t let “mannequin man” make his move. Liam was planning on heading to the cabin after work, but Bill thought his son should go right now.
Bill vowed to do whatever he could to make sure Liam was with the woman he belonged with.
At Brooke’s house, she got a call from Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and learned he’d be stuck at a design meeting for a while. Bill came barging in and wanted to talk about their kids.
Bill insisted the separation was eating Liam alive – and Brooke insisted she was rooting for Liam and Hope to reunite. Brooke added that it was all up to Hope now. Hope had to decide how much she could forgive.
At Forrester Creations, Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) wondered what Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) was drinking and assumed it was something healthy.
Paris admitted it was a special drink with vitamins and antioxidants she got hooked on. She insisted she drank one every day right down to the last drop and suggested Zoe should try one. Zoe passed and opted for mineral water instead.
Zoe noticed Paris’ new dress, so Paris admitted Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) had a special evening planned. “You’re not jealous, are you?”
Paris asked. Zoe sarcastically wondered why she would be jealous just because Paris and Zende are getting closer while Zoe couldn’t be further apart from Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor).
As Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) listened by the door, Paris said she was sorry that the engagement was off. Nevertheless, Paris thought Zoe knew the only person she had to blame was herself.
After Quinn entered, she asked if everything was OK between the sisters. Paris got called away, so Quinn told Zoe she was lousy at hiding her feelings.
Quinn was up on all the Forrester family drama and office gossip, so she knew Zoe’s engagement was called off because of what happened with Zende.
Zoe ranted about Paris coming to town and inserting herself into her life, though she knew it probably sounded like she should be more supportive.
“Oh, I’m sorry. Did I say that?” Quinn asked on Friday’s Bold and the Beautiful episode. That’s not what Quinn was getting at. Quinn felt like they both had checkered pasts and knew what it was like to fight for a second chance, third chance, etc.
Quinn mentioned that Eric Forrester (John McCook) asked her to make herself scarce due to Zende’s date with Paris at the mansion.
Quinn also had to go out and get more of Eric’s “concoction,” which was a canister full of herbs and seeds for his digestion. Although Quinn knew it was TMI, she laughed about the “symphony of sounds” Eric’s stomach makes when he takes this stuff.
As for Paris, Quinn wanted to know what Zoe intended to do about her sister. From the look on Zoe’s face, Quinn could tell she was looking to get even.
Zoe didn’t see what she could do to keep things from escalating, but Quinn picked up the canister thoughtfully and then said she should go powder her nose – clearly leaving the canister for Zoe to use.
Once Zoe was alone on Friday’s B&B episode, she scooped some of the noisy “concoction” into Paris’ special drink. Paris returned and gulped it down since she had to dash off for her date night.
Zoe thought Paris might be in for a big surprise tonight – one Paris wouldn’t soon forget.
Back at the cabin, Liam showed up to tell Hope he missed her and that nothing made sense in his life without her. After Hope listened to Liam laughing with Beth on the baby monitor, she praised him for being a good father.
Liam wished he could be a good father all the time. His life was nothing without Hope and their family.
After Liam opened up about how much he missed holding, touching and kissing Hope, he went in for a lip lock.
Hope reciprocated and then Liam acknowledged it was the first time she’d let him do that since he betrayed her. Liam told Hope he loved her as she stared back into his eyes.
