The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers recap for Friday, February 5, reveal that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) continued their conversation in the CEO office at Forrester Creations.
Ridge asked what he could do to help Steffy. Steffy divulged that she had a paternity test done and that she wanted the father to be John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan).
Soon, Finn walked in and learned that Ridge had been filled in on the situation. Ridge acknowledged that Finn was in a tough position and that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Steffy had screwed up.
Finn told Ridge that he loved Steffy and that what happened that night would never change that. Ridge was pleased to hear this, and Finn said that he hoped the baby was his.
After Ridge left, Finn and Steffy noted how great it was that Steffy had her father’s support. Steffy said that Finn meant a lot to her and that she wanted a future with Finn holding their baby in his arms.
Finn reassured Steffy that he wanted to be with her and that he was going to roll with whatever happened and that he was sticking with her.
Meanwhile, over at Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) mansion, Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) talked with Liam and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).
Hope told Liam that she didn’t have all the answers yet, and Liam went on in typical fashion about how he wants to earn Hope’s forgiveness.
Hope said that she needed more time, and that she was scared for looking like a fool if she forgives Liam, and that she was scared that it would happen again. Hope worried that her love for Liam could return to resentment and pain.
Thomas wondered if Steffy had an inkling of who the father was, and Liam said that Steffy thought the baby was Finn’s. Liam started in again about how nothing needed to change between himself and Hope, and Hope reminded Liam that he was so sure that she had cheated on him with Thomas.
Thomas expressed concern about Steffy, saying that she had finally moved on and that he could see how much Liam regretted what he did.
Thomas continued, saying that Steffy had happiness with Finn, and that Hope was happiest when she was with Liam and the kids. “Don’t lose sight of that,” Thomas said.
Thomas took off, and Hope said that Thomas wasn’t wrong. Liam said that he just wanted Hope to be happy again, and that he wanted to earn her trust. “All I can do is show you with my actions that it’s never going to happen again,” Liam continued. “I need to you to give me the chance to prove it.”
In the design office at Forrester Creations, Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) insisted to Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) that she didn’t tell Ridge that Zoe would be at the Forrester mansion with Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz). Zoe fumed that Paris could have better covered for her.
“This is why I never wanted you here!” Zoe said. Paris urged Zoe to accept her support, and she said that she’d go to Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and put in a good word.
Zoe ranted about how Ridge must hate her and that her future at Forrester Creations was uncertain now.
“Forrester is mine – you need to leave today!” Zoe insisted. Paris was incredulous, saying that she didn’t want her sister against her. Zoe said that Paris never should have come here, and Paris was dismayed by her sister’s rejection. Zoe thought that Paris was around simple to be close to Zende.
Paris fired back that she was here because she wanted a relationship with Zoe. Paris noted that sometimes Zoe loses control and gets in trouble, but deep down she’s a good person. Zoe wasn’t buying the flattery, and she insisted that Paris leave Forrester Creations now.
Zoe then whipped out a manilla folder with a resignation letter all typed up and ready for Paris to sign. Paris said that this whole situation made her sad, and that she couldn’t believe that Zoe was trying to kick her out of Forrester and her life. “I thought things would be different this time,” Paris said.
“But one thing has changed,” Paris continued. “I grew up.” And with that, Paris said that she wasn’t signing the document and she said that she wasn’t allowing Zoe to boss her around ever again. Paris tore up the document right in front of Zoe.
