The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, March 12, reveals that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) continued his buildup about the incredible news he had to share.
Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) got confirmation that this wasn’t about Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) and then worried about Thomas’ face.
Thomas admitted Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) hit him, so Hope wondered why they were fighting. Thomas suggested that Vinny was keeping something life-changing from all of them – and it would affect Hope.
Hope didn’t understand how something Vinny did could affect her, but Thomas insisted it was true. He suggested Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) would be affected most of all.
Thomas talked about how tight he’d always been with Vinny – ride or die since grade school. He always thought it was good having someone with his best interests at heart, but he added that now he’s not so sure. It can make you lose perspective.
Hope was beyond confused, but Thomas admitted that he found out Vinny worked in a hospital lab – and not just any hospital lab. The hospital lab where Steffy had her paternity test done.
Thomas assured Hope that he didn’t know about this sudden career move until recently.
After Thomas brought up Vinny’s knowledge of everything happening in the lab, he confessed that it made him suspicious. Thomas ultimately found out that Vinny ran the test and altered the results.
“Steffy isn’t having Liam’s baby,” Thomas insisted. “The child is Finn’s.” Hope stood there in shock.
At Forrester Creations on Friday’s Bold and the Beautiful episode, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) told Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) about Steffy’s decision to leave LA with Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Collette Gray).
Brooke learned why and felt it was admirable for Steffy to try to protect the man she loved.
Ridge was hopeful that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) could stop Steffy from leaving. Talk turned to that night between Steffy and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), which Brooke still wished had never happened.
Brooke hesitated to say more on the topic, but Ridge pushed her to keep going.
Brooke wished she could strangle Steffy and Liam for what they did! Liam has gone back and forth between Hope and Steffy for years – and then there was that stupid night that ended up getting Steffy pregnant.
Brooke reflected on Hope having a rough time, but she was excited for Ridge to be a granddad again.
However, Brooke wasn’t sure Hope would be able to watch Liam raise another child with Steffy. How many times can Hope be expected to forgive the same mistake when it comes to Liam?
Brooke hated to say it, but she didn’t think Hope’s marriage would survive the birth of Steffy and Liam’s second child.
Outside the cliff house on Friday’s B&B episode, Finn insisted he wouldn’t let Steffy get on that plane. He refused to let Steffy or this baby walk out of his life. From the moment Finn saw Steffy, he knew the woman for him had finally arrived in his life.
Steffy felt like she was doing what was best by leaving and that Finn would thank her later. She felt like listening to Finn was only going to make this harder. Finn insisted he loves Steffy so much and that there’s no need for her to go anywhere.
Steffy was grateful for the time they’d had together and wanted Finn to promise her that he’d be happy. “Not without you,” Finn said. He said they were going to make all their dreams come true – and that things had a way of working out how they were meant to.
Steffy didn’t want Finn to resent her or this baby, but Finn insisted Steffy was the only woman he wanted – and he wanted her “precious cargo,” too.
Steffy argued that Finn was going to be an incredible father, and that her biggest regret was that she wouldn’t be a part of that.
Finn asked if Steffy was done because he really needed her to stop talking now! Steffy was taken aback, especially when Finn pulled out an engagement ring that belonged to his mother.
Finn dropped to one knee and talked about how Steffy was the perfect woman for him. After Finn ran down the reasons why they were a great match, he gushed over Steffy’s astonishing beauty inside and out.
Finn begged Steffy to let him put that ring on her finger and make him the happiest, proudest man in the world. “Steffy Forrester, will you be my wife?” Finn asked – and Steffy gasped as she struggled with her emotions.
